Like many, before FDS I wasn’t aware that guys want more than just a simple friendship with you. Now, everything seems to clear to me. I met this guy at a community college about 5 years ago, and I enjoy socializing with everyone I meet and so I realized he was always alone and I know how it feels to not be wanted but there was something off about him. One of my friends never liked him, and she always looked uncomfortable when he was around us

As we started to get to know each other and he got closer to me he would always say comments such as “I’m never letting you go” “wherever you go, I’m following you” I would just laugh it off but the moment he started saying these things, I was starting to feel uneasy but I brushed it off thinking he would stop. Years passed by, and at some point we stopped communicating for a whole year, I changed my number and one day I get a random message from my community college mail that I stopped using since I transferred to a university and it was from him. Asking me if I blocked him and what happened. Silly me, gave him my new number and we continued to stay “friends”

Last year, I was talking to a guy and I told him about it, all for him to confess to me that he’s in love with me. The last time I hanged out with him he was asking me what do I want in a guy, and asking me other questions about my love life. I’ve made it very clear I don’t see him that way, and I want to focus on myself for a very long time.

He hasn’t said any rude comments or such, and asks me once in a while how I am, but ever since our last encounter I just don’t feel like continuing this relationship anymore. Am I being mean for this?
