He might seem like the most amazing guy you have met after your abusive ex or people you have dated in the past. He's charming, takes good care of himself, he's hardworking, responsible and has goals.

Until his masks starts to slip.

After seeing someone for a couple months, the red flags were always there....but I chose to brush it off because I chose to believe he had more high value qualities than low. I realized I was starting to lower my standards for him and that's when he slowly started to change. One day he asked me if he wanted to meet at night since we haven't seen each other in a while and I wanted to see him but I was swamped with work. So I let him know that day wasn't going to work for me but I asked him if he was available during the week (We normally always hang out but he already seemed annoyed at the fact that I wasn't free when he wanted to see me) , the next day we exchange a couple of messages and everything okay. until he sends me a voice message venting to me how he hates that we are seeing each other less and told me to have a nice life, at first I thought he was playing because of his tone so I sent a couple voice messages back saying how I was happy we were going to see each other soon and I never heard back from him that night and I assumed he just fell asleep. So the day that we were suppose to be together, hours pass by and I hear nothing from him. So I text him if everything okay...all for him to respond to me "Yes. Hbu?"

I was DONE. I blocked him right away. Then I start getting messages from him on my ipad asking me if I blocked him, why did I block him, this is getting ridiculous, we need to talk, etc. The next morning, he sends me an email and questions what the hell happened and how he has some things to return and If I don't respond, he will go to my house and leave my things by the porch. Then proceeds to tell me how amazing he believes I am and that he will always be there for me. He didn't find a way to communicate with me for almost a day and leaves me hanging.......yet he's confused?

Men know what they do, but they believe we are going to be leeching on to them no matter what. After being in an abusive relationship for way too long, I wasn't going to go through it again. He had me once and he will never have me again.

If they are genuinely interested in you, they won’t do anything to lose you.
