I actually think it means it has been a while, because if he weren't sensitive that would mean he's beating it too much. Then again, I'm not a guy. Maybe take it slow with the intimacy part and see if he can do other things (like oral on you etc.) to make sure he isn't inexperienced.

I’m not sure it “means” anything. At this point it’s a matter of your own preferences and whether or not he’s able to gain stamina over time.

Honestly, do you want to date someone who would finish quickly? That’s not so bad as what he does in response. Does he prioritize your orgasm because he knows he’ll finish quickly? Does he still keep going so you can finish if he finishes first? That’s the real question.

There’s issues with ejaculating too quickly, not getting to up at all, being so desensitized you can’t finish without your own hand, etc. I dated a man one who finished in less than 2 minutes usually, and then didn’t want to be touched at all, or touch me in any way after. That experience was really disheartening. I might as well have been a flesh light. So without having a bigger picture, you could be in for a similar experience, or maybe he’s fantastic at oral or will be willing to do other intimate things, but you still run the risk of having very dissatisfying penetration.

I was with a guy once who was a heavily porn addicted person who had slept around a ton. Still lasted only 30 seconds. Never got better. I stayed for much, much longer than made sense, because he never did a single thing to try to improve the situation. He seemed fine with it and the absurdity of it was embarrassing. Sticking around might be the right thing for you if this is something that you are willing to be an emotional caretaker for. Because this situation will not necessarily be about creating a viable sex life. It's a no from me, dawg. Guys with premature ejaculation issues are so unsatisfying. Some will say, "well they can do oral or use fingers etc" but some of us just prefer penetration and those things can't compare.

Not doing it in a while really isn't an excuse either imo. They need to strengthen their pelvic floor or learn how to hold it. If my bf and I go a while without having sex, he will be super sensitive but he still lasts until after I have an orgasm because he actually cares about my pleasure.

Do you really want to be in a relationship with someone who you can't put your hands on when you make out? Who you have to walk on eggshells around so you don't cause him to prematurely ejaculate? That doesn't sound fun to me.

Personally, this meant very unsatisfying intimacy. Generally, the guys I met who had this issue also never bothered to learn oral, or fingering, because they came so quickly and as soon as that happened it was over. Pass for me personally.
