I recently was diagnosed with a whole slough of conditions; pneumonia, seizures, rhabdomyolysis, alopecia and have reduced cognitive functioning and patience. I was hospitalized via ambulance in the middle of the night for about two weeks, intubated for 5 days, my license was suspended for a minimum of six months and was told by doctors and HR to go on disability. I imagine these circumstances has greatly reduced my SMV/desirability.

Additionally, I was put on a cocktail of meds and require someone to visit me every 3 hours to make sure I am conscious and breathing autonomously.

Prior to this I made $400,000+/year, used a very minor but effective amount of testosterone (100mg) and primo (20mg) to maintain optimal sexual performance and physique (can bench six plates). I have a net worth of about $5M at 37 years old. I can 100% live without my 9-5($90K/year) but my belief is that it helps to maintain status and drive. Now I must come off my physique enhancing medications and can no longer work out, among other life changes that I don't feel entirely comfortable. One example not being able to travel on an airplane due to lack of access to medical care in the case of an event happening.

I previously read all the side bar and practiced MRP with my ex wife and have now been with my fiancΓ© for almost three years and have taken those lessons to greatly improve my life (she's also way hotter and comes from a much more compassionate and supportive family). I also have since doubled my income and started investing in multifamily investment real estate and stocks.

My concern is that my wife will change her perspective on me due to these circumstances and required life changes. However, I also believe there certain directions I can change my life to that are more optimal than others, less lazy or more productive.
