I went through a main event in the beginning. She overheard me talking to a buddy about NMMNG & WISNIFG. I didn't go full in depth about them, nor did I mention mrp. But when she started seeing the changes, she had her meltdown.

I was expecting it, per sidebar. I will admit, I wasn't expecting how intense it ended up being, and I didn't knock it completely out of the park right off the bat. But she heard my vision for the ship and seemed to happily climb aboard.

Fast forward 8 months. Leading the family/marriage and OYS are coming natural for the most part. Again, not 100%...but I don't turn into a whiny bitch when I slip or miss an opportunity. It happens, I own it, learn a thing or 2 and move forward. I decided I was in a good place to start working on my sex life. There is info in my post history if you want details. But it's boiled down to dominance going way up (gradually, over time) & trying new things that I want to do.

There have been a lot of shitty comfort tests. They started around the same time I started a temporary 2nd part-time job. And now I'm getting kill the puppy messages. "I don't deserve you" flat out.

I know it's subconcious for them, but she actually seems to think it's true. She took it upon herself to start browsing the web for "how to be a better wife." It seems more like guilt and low self esteem than her actually wanting me to kill the puppy...but I just can't say for sure.

My question is, are multiple main events the norm as different areas of our lives and our relationships change? Or is this a sign of a bigger problem?

*butthurt/in her frame disclaimer: lol I know this is needed here, and I get why those are the first responses. So I'll get ahead of the curve and say this, I'm just looking for advice from someone with more experience than I at the moment. This is many things for me, and I will ultimately have to make my own decisions, but I came to askmrp to get advice that will help me learn from this and make the best decision for my life.
