My wife stays home and watches after our 4 kids. There are facets of our finances that she manages. One of them are the insurance claims for things like dental, glasses, etc.

I received a text an hour ago telling me she (finally) got around to submitting claims. Money returning to the vault. I sent a quick reply asking if she also filed claims for a couple of massages she received.

Me: "Massage claims?"

Her: "Everyone's a critic, it's never enough"

So I see this for what it is. She wanted a cookie for being doing a job and rather than get one, she was asked if she finished the job.

I've held radio silence since receiving her little snit and don't plan on responding.

Even 6 months ago I would have clarified and said, "oh, sorry, thanks, yeah, good stuff". I would have done that more so I felt like less of a dick.

I'm confirming that since this is text, anything other than silence is drawing me into her frame (I recognize that even posting here, at this moment, is a sign of my own weakness.)

Correct?
