Definitions

Gents, The parent sub's sidebar article on terms is woefully incomplete. I humbly submit this strawman as a start toward an expansion.

AF/BB Alpha Fucks/Beta Bucks - This is a female reproductive strategy, often express as "sticking the landing coming off the carousel." A woman following the AF/BB strategy will spend the peak years of her sexual market value having sex with the highest value males she can, then, when she has had one or two children off of the high value alpha males, she selects a beta provider male to spend his money and effort supporting her and her alpha spawn rather than his own genetic offspring. Driven by the Female Imperative, most women are unaware that they are following the AF/BB strategy. They just know what they need at the time.

AWALT - All Women Are Like That. This is a reminder that while they may be expressed differently and with different intensities, all women share a subset of traits that include hypergamy, solipsism, and the rationalization hamster.

Beta Orbiter – A man who hangs around a woman, providing her with resources such as skill (fixing shit), time, strength (helping her move), or money (actual dates) without a sexual component. See also LJBF.

Branch Swinging – The hypergamous act of a woman making sure she is secure in a new, higher-value relationship before letting go of her previous one.

Chad Thundercock - Also "Chad." Chad is a mythical figure who changes depending on the girl, but essentially when we speak of Chad Thundercock, we are talking about a girls "perfect alpha." If she's into musicians, for example, he will be the front man of a local band. He always seems to have money and he just OOZES charm. Mortal men have no chance to compete against Chad Thundercock. And the bastard always seems to show up when our game is weakest.

Close- A goal in interacting with a woman. Ex: Name close – get her name, number close – get her phone number, kiss close – kiss her, f-close – have sex with her.

Comfort Test – Rarer and harder to spot than a fitness test, a woman paired to significantly alpha male may feel insecure due to his perceived ability to replace her, and seek some beta behavior to reassure her that he is not about to leave her.

DTF - Down To Fuck. A woman who is ready to have sex. Generally used to indicated the available sexuality of a woman at the BEGINNING of a date, as supposed to a women who has been successfully seduced.

Fitness Test – This is a sudden, and to a guy, inexplicable, outburst of contrary bitchiness from his LTR or plate. Red pill theory holds that this is an instinctive reaction women have to men who have not displayed sufficient alpha traits (strength/aggressiveness) to assure them that they can defend the “cave” against interlopers. Ie: “If he can’t/won’t stand up to me, what good will he be when the cave bears come?” Shit tests also come up in flirting with new women as they look to sort out alphas from betas, but these tests, while bitchy, have less malice behind them and are often more flirty.

FWB - Friend With Benefits. This is a woman with whom you have sex when it is mutually convenient, and with whom you have a cordial relationship, but have no intention of forming a standard LTR. Unlike a plate, to whom you pay enough attention to make her think you are interested, a FWB can be ignored for weeks or even months at a time until you are both "not busy" without falling.

Hamster – The act of a woman making a decision based on how she feels at the moment, and then rationalizing why her decision is “logical” or “factually based.” Ex. Women will lie to your face about how many men they have had sex with. They do this because sex while drunk “doesn’t count.” Or “sex while on ‘an adventure in the bahamas’ or ‘on spring break’ “doesn’t count.”

HB - "Hot Babe" or "Hot Body" or "Hard Body" followed by a number. Indicates the relative SMV of a woman. IE: HB8 - This girl is an "8" or the 1 to 10 scale.

Kino – The act of touching a woman for the purpose of leading to a more intimate connection. “Soft kino,” touches that seem incidental. “Hard-kino” or “Overt-kino,” touches that are blatantly sexual.

LDR - Long distance relationship.

LJBF – “Let’s just be friends.” This is the kiss of death for a proposed romantic relationship. A woman, often sincerely, proposes friendship with a man who is sexually attracted to her. Accepting this proposal makes one a “beta orbiter.” Note that many women are later sincerely surprised and shocked to discover that their beta orbiters were carrying torches and still wanted romantic/sexual relationships with them.

LTR – Long term relationship. An relationship between a man and a woman this is assumed to be exclusive and more than a few weeks long. Can be anything from a casual “going steady” up to a marriage that lasts for more than fifty years.

NAWALT - Not All Women Are Like That. Knee jerk response by women when confronted with Red Pill truths about the feminine nature. Almost always incorrect.

Next – Dismissing a woman as a prospect and moving on to the next one. “Soft” next – doing “the fade” without formally breaking off the relationship. This leaves the idea open to re-connect under better circumstances. “Hard” next – Deliberately breaking contact with a woman, removing her contact information from phones, e-mails, and the like and ignoring future contact with her. Sometimes deliberately telling her you are doing so.

Number – The accurate count of how many sexual partners you have had. See also "Unfair Double Standard"

Oneitis - The belief that One Particular Girl is so special and unique that she is the ONLY girl for you. This is almost always incorrect, and while it is most typically found in young men, men in their sixties have been known to fall for it.

Plate – A woman with who a guy is sexually active, but not exclusively. See Plate Theory http://rationalmale.wordpress.com/2011/08/19/plate-theory-2/. Usage: “Plate her,” “I’m spinning 2 plates,” “I want her for a plate, not an LTR.”

Prospect – A woman with whom a guy believes he can become sexually active in the near future, but is not yet.

SMP - Sexual Market Place - the environment in which we seek to mate. Physically, it's everywhere, but celibates, spinsters, and MGTOW have taken themselves OUT of it.

SMV - Sexual Market Value - the relative scale of how good a mating prospect a person is.

Soft Next - See Next

Starfish (Sex) - To permit sexual access, usually to a husband, but with no passion or interest. "To lie there like a starfish."

Unfair Double Standard - Men with a high Number are said to be "studs" and lauded. Women with a high Number are said to be sluts, and shamed.

Unicorn – A non-hypergamous woman. That is, a woman who won’t leave you when she finds what she perceives as a better mate. Often mis-used to indicate a woman who a good marriage prospect.
