Does nofap really works? I only do it once a day or every other day, how am I suppose to feel when I stop for a while?

If you haven't developed a serious habit, you won't notice much change. The "super powers" the guys on nofap talk about mostly come from getting back to normal after having abused your dopamine reward system for an extended period of time.

Some of the guys on nofap are recoving from a habit of spending hours EVERY DAY with their dick in their hand, watching terabytes of video porn.

So, of course, when they quit that, they have more time, energy, and focus to do other things.

If you're rubbing one out two or three times a week, you probably don't have a problem and won't see much difference.

It certainly helped me. Well technically not nofap but decreasing frequency from like once a day to once a week, and ditching porn. I had problems staying hard with my girlfriend before but not any more.

It may just be placebo, but it also could be if you stop you get more dopamine released for other activities and don't need as much stimulation. But it works for me. Whenever I stopped for long periods of time, I felt more confident, happy, and less tired during the day.

Give it a shot, it worked for me. It's like harnessing that passion and energy you release during masturbation into other, more productive, areas of your life. Beware of increased horniness and an increased temper. Don't let nofap get you into a bar fight or fuck a landwhale (unless that's your thing). But overall, yeah, it works and you'll see an increase in masculine energy.

I've been a habitual fapstronaut for over 20 years. The times when I stopped for a few weeks I've noticed that I have a bit more mental focus and energy.

I'm trying to kick the habit again after an embarrassing night of losing and regaining my erection several times during sex. I know that I am a lot more sensitive and aroused when I don't fap. This experience gave me the kick in the pants I needed to stop.

This time around, I did it differently. This may or may not work for everybody (I don't even know if it works for me yet).

I focused on being aroused not on cumming. I wanted to remember what it felt like to be physically aroused without stimulation. I didn't stop watching porn at first. Every other time I tried to stop fapping, I also tried to stop watching porn. This time, I allowed myself to watch and fantasize and all the mental things I do when I fap. But not touching my dick.

It takes some willpower, but I think of it as a challenge. I embraced the horniness and denied the stimulation.

After a week, I'm watching less porn without trying. I'm spending more time doing other things. So I'd say going nofap is beneficial. Just don't become a zealot.

I've heard that using a fleshlight instead of a hand helps with sensitivity. You might not realize it but no vagina can compete with a man's grip. It's worse if you dry-fap (which I have always done). Poor vagina tries it's best and you feel a void where your dick should be. After a few weeks of nofap, I can feel so much more that condoms don't bother me.

Check out their sub they explain everything. Personally I'm not faping since 2weeks but I can't tell I've improved by any metric so far. If I get laid one day I'll will be able to say that nofap and trp helped me but otherwise I won't be able to tell much.

Nofap worked for me by 90 days after being a large porn consumer, but then after the next 90 days, it totally killed my ability to get boners. Still dealing with this problem.

You don't get superpowers or anything but it's been fun experimenting. I used to do it every night after work, lots of porn consumption. I wouldn't be able to stay hard during sex or have fun, I was mostly focusing on finishing and not enjoying sex.

From abstaining I actually enjoyed handjobs and sex, being able to finish during sex is probably the best feeling ever. I've gone everywhere from 25 days to 2-3 days every once in a while. It helps keep it up during sex if you stop for like 4-5 days, noporn & nofap. Otherwise I haven't experienced much difference, been staying away from porn hoping that maybe my standards will drop or something else will happen.
