Yeah don’t wait too long. Text her a couple of hours after saying something like “don’t you go losing my number now”. Playful, funny and assertive. Top it off with a off the cuff text later in the evening, maybe a topical question or something asking her opinion on something wait for reply. Then wait. 7pm the next day. Just come back from the gym, heavy day at work, and reply. Wait for reply and then escalate to “I’m going to x, it’ll be fun, you should come”.

Don't know if this is night or day game, but I primarily spit day game and have good success rates with numbers and getting responses/dates.

Obviously you want her to invest in the initial interaction as much as possible. And I'm getting blue in the face with saying the same thing over and over for the past few weeks, but read Kazia's 9 hook lead system or look it up on youtube (also called the "10 hook lead system").

Roosh talks about "dropping bait" and "rambling" but that never clicked with me. I didn't know how to ramble or drop interesting pieces of information.

With the 9-hook lead system, you have lots of different conversation tools you can use to get her to give you rich answers, full of "hooks" that lead to additional conversation topics. Before you (or she) knows it, you're both sharing information and having a lively discussion about a variety of topics. And you've only just met!

A good rule of thumb is that a girl should be asking you at LEAST 2 personal questions before you even go for her number. Personal questions are questions not related to a 3rd party object/subject but are about YOU as a man. "Where are you from?" "What's your name?" "Why did you move here?" "What do you do?"

If a girl asks you these questions during a day game approach, you are in like Flynn. Just gotta get her moving her lips and putting some effort in.

I don't go for numbers unless I can tell for sure that she's into me. Strong IOI, good eye contact and chemistry. Even then, I get about a 10-20% rate of non-response.

My guess is that your prospects are only mildly interested. In that case, you should figure out where the issues are in your game, as if they're not interested even a little you'll get a fake number.

Theres always flakes. Also, lots of girls will give u number hoping to avoid an awkward situation/get you to fuck off without a problem(ie- "Buy whyyyy?" or continuing to try to talk to/follow her- some guys do this I guess).

Just keep playing the numbers.

Quick add on. Last two numbers seemed pretty good, decent IOIs not amazing, but both agreed to hanging out after I asked for their schedule. Yet when I text then no response. First was somewhat entertaining, second was boring but with a more traditional girl so it made sense

Why are you settling for # closes? You should be trying for fuck closes. Number closes are...well I'll just say you can't fuck a number.

If the girl is halfway attractive she has 100 guys into her on her phone. If you were mildly interesting and she gave you her number, there is no guarantee she even remembers who you are the next day, or why she was attracted to you.

Are you asking for numbers or are they giving them to you?

First off, text the woman pretty much ASAP, that's my rule. Reason for this is it keeps you fresh in her mind, don't wait too long or she won't remember who you are and the memory of your awesome (hopefully) conversation. If you start immediately this can sometimes lead to meetups on the same day/night you get the number.

They're giving you their number so your in-person game is probably alright. I think some more specific text examples would be helpful. My guess is you're texting them boring things. (Also, they gave you the number for a reason, don't forget your main goal here is to meet up later with them, not to be their freakin penpal)

Boring texting can be fine. It shows you're a real person when you text about everyday/day-to-day things which is great, shows you're not a constant joker and you don't just wanna bang her.

Buuuutttttt.... text about stuff nobody else does, or turn that boring thing into a fun thing.. Stuck in traffic? Text her, "ugghhh I hate traffic. Can't wait till they finally build me my own lane" or some bullshit, there's probably something better than what I just came up with off the top of my head lol.

DON'T text her: "Hi this is Bill, we met at the park earlier. How are you?" blehhh I wanna vomit haha

Text her something with a callback to your prior conversation. Text her a joke or a meme. Literally anything more interesting than what I typed above.
Text her some copypasta from the internet even, there are a ton of those which are super fun and helpful for texting (but be real after that)
Fuck, even calling them randomly is way better (as long as you have good phone game and a good voice)

Lastly when you do get them to reply, figure out their schedule WHILE texting, once you have her schedule figured out-- shoot for a meetup. But don't always only text about a meetup and don't always open about a meetup.
