I am skinnyfat. I never exercised in my childhood or early teens (mum prohibited me from going out) and I started serious running five years ago. I typically average around 4 min 40 sec to 5 min 30 sec per kilometre (depending on whether it's 3 km,5km or 10km), which I've been told repeatedly is shit timing. My obese father is also unhappy that I spend more time exercising than earning money. (You're not even athletic)

Is it normal for the body to want 10 hours of sleep post exercise? When I was a kid and when I was an early teen I would study into the night and get off with maybe 4-5 hours of sleep a night and it was perfectly fine. I've been running every day on a consistent basis and at 21 my sleep timings just keep shooting up. I feel abnormal because my body can't cope with the 4-5 hour cycles I used to be able to, and because everyone else my age is doing it alcohol and that kind of hours to boot.

Look, I don't know what to think. I feel like shit right now. Step on me and tell me the truth (please don't give me the blue pill treatment where they tell you everything is all right and that you're normal and people should accept you for who you are) because I need to know where I stand with regards to the rest of the world before I go running again tomorrow morning.
