Being top 10% is not hard. It's actually pretty easy.

Be 12% body fat.
Lift regularly.
Earn 70k or more.
Dress and groom well.

You are now a top 10% male.

The real challenge is being a top 2% male, that's where the elite pussy lies.

Considering the state of men these days, it doesn't take much. If you meditate, lift, eat right, don't smoke or vape, avoid drugs, limit alcohol, aren't a caffeine junkie, and have hobbies of your own; then you are already many standard deviations above average men.

You have to stop connecting top 10% or top 20% to being able to attract women on the regular. Its not that easy, and realistically I think you have to be top 1-5% before you see solid results.

so a guy makes 100K a year, is 12% bodyfat, lifts, dresses well, is 6'0" and only 30.

he is probably top 1% EASILY, but I know plenty of guys like the above that STILL struggle with women (even with decent social skills)

Don't bother trying to become top 10% or whatever random bullshit number because

A) There is no point in comparing yourself to others. You will always tend to compare yourself with what you are not/don't have, making you forever dissatisfied with what you are/have.

B) It's impossible to define what the top 10% is. Women have their own preferences. And so should you.

A better approach is to become your own best version and start looking for the women who dig your type. Become the top version of you and you will quickly stand out with those women. Don't compare yourself with others, compare yourself with who you could be, both for better and worse.

The closer you get to the most productive version of yourself, the higher your confidence will be. The tricky part is that you do not start hating yourself for not being good enough or working hard enough. Simply do what you can without burning yourself out. Being able to keep up with improvement over a long period of time will feel immeasurably better than quick peaks and slacking periods.

Be in the top half of many different things and that will get you into the top 10%

Be in good shape. Have a decent job / career. Don't be a total beta around women.

Most men are brutal these days so it doesn't take much.
