I’ll keep it short. New to trp, read the side bar, still learning the ropes.

Before I start ... I can’t put up with people who show up late and disrespect my time.

So ... Plate and I made plans for 6pm at a common spot where we usually meet... she msgs at 5:30 to push to 6:15 (I assume because she’s running late). ... I reply “lol”

At 6:00 she calls and says gps is saying that she’ll be arriving at 6:35 .. says sorry a few times... I don’t say much on the phone other than ... drive safe, I’ll see you when you get here.. she continues to apologies.

Then at 6:30 she says it’s moving slower than expected and gps is saying 7pm, at this point I keep my cool and tell her... hey I didn’t mind meeting at 7 or 7:30 but didn’t expect to wait for someone for an hour. So I’m not trying to be a dick but I’m going home. ... she continues to say sorry multiple times, I do some comic relief stuff and then continue to keep it cool and continue to drive home.

She asks me to at least get mad at her or say something or yell at her. I tell her .. that doesn’t do anything for me, why would I put myself through that because you can’t seem show up on time. It shouldn’t be difficult to checkup on rush hour traffic and plan accordingly.

Now I’m wondering how to handle the next interaction. I don’t plan on making contact but rather have her work for it or not contact her altogether if she doesn’t even bother, doesn’t matter.

Thoughts?
