Three things you need to know.

One, most people on TRP don't complain about the "cock carousel". They accept it. Most people on TRP would tell you that LTRs in general are a bad idea; why would they care if their plates are sleeping around before or after them?

Two, men and women are different. Promiscuity in the average man and promiscuity in the average woman are different. In brief, higher testosterone in men makes them want sex much more, tipping supply and demand in women's favor.

Women can be much more choosy. This means only the desirable men are able to be promiscuous, while much less desirable women are able to be. For women, partner counts are much more normalized. For Men, a large population has extremely low partner counts, a large population has somewhat low partner counts, and a small population has enormous partner counts.

What this means, in brief, is that a promiscuous man is both "morally flawed"(per ancient moral teachings etc) and socially excellent. A promiscuous woman is just "morally flawed". This is why women are historically shamed for promiscuity more than men.

Three, Your question doesn't really make any sense anyway, unless it's from a position of morality.

Sexual strategy is amoral. It serves an individual man's best interest to sleep around if he's able to and wants to, and it serves his best interest to choose someone with a low partner count if he wants a long relationship(studies proven, both in terms of relationship happiness and longevity). Women and men are not equal. Period. What applies to one does not necessarily apply to the other. Men with a high partner count are considered more desirable to women, not less, while the opposite is true for women. Mother nature is not fair and cares not a whit about being hypocritical. We don't try to have sex with as many women as possible(although that is what I recommend noobies to do as training). Everyone has a different sexual strategy and goal, I actually have a really heavy filter. We are just able to have shameless, no strings attached sex more often than a blue piller that takes his value structure from women. What you see quite often is encouragement to get out of the blue pill apologetic self hating state of sexual denial and fast women put you in and realise you are the one that makes sex happen, sex is not handed down as a reward by goddesses that are pleased with your conduct.

Carousel riding is a short term selfish strategy and in the hand of a evil person hurts a lot of people and because it's done by women it's above all criticism. The market is that unbalanced, men will do almost anything for sex and the promise of commitment; women not only know that, a lot use that to their advantage in horrifying ways. Let's go the route of equality, because I feel like that is where you are coming from. We tell men to always be honest about their intentions, never give false hopes. Carousel riders never are. They also have ulterior motives(effectively making you sign blank checks). When they do promise commitment, it comes with a lot of strings, is never sincere and more often than not utilitarian in nature.(I have not seen a girl under 27 that loves her man more than she loves the relationship). Combine that with the cluelessness of the average man, the high demand on the sexual market(which women don't really leave just because they are in a relationship) and you get not only a epidemic of cuckoldry(mostly emotional but the physical accounts aren't negligible) but a relationship paradigm(feminism) that pushes even good girls to exploit men savagely in pursuit of their biological imperative(fucking alphas and getting beta's to pay for it).

None of this would be even marginally accepted for even the most sluttiest of men, even here. It would be perceived as needy, unsustainable pointless ego stroking. We tell men to not only have strings on commitment to have clear conditions. We tell men to not go into relationships for the benefits, but only if they really see a future with the girl(and we criticise them harshly for idealising and rationalising a possible future). We advocate accepting loneliness as a state of normal so that we aren't tempted by better than alone relationships. We encourage men to not abuse weak minded girls, because codependent relationships are dangerous(both physically and legally). When men do get above a certain level of SMV we argue that they should go for quality over quantity, because that is how you grow emotionally and in relationship skill. We do not encourage cheating, again it is not sustainable and emotionally healthy. We are against pointless exclusivity, not to mention a loveless monogamy. The only reason you are in a LTR should be because you do not want to fuck other women, sans that you are a idiot fot being in one in the first place.

I personally think women and men are too dumb and emotionally charged to make any live long decision before the age of 24. And choosing a life partner is an extremely complicated issue that is way above their ability. The difference is that in our cultural climate short of getting AIDS, having a baby or raping someone the average man can't really fuck up his whole life based on a bad sexual strategy while he is young, he simply does not have that degree of choice. A average woman can literally fuck herself out of being able to have a emotionally healthy relationship before she finishes high school, just by not saying "No". ANd nobody tells her this, because it would be "slut shaming".

Let me tell you this, if slut-shaming was actually a thing and riding the carousel would have no long term emotional effects or respected for what it is: common sense advice, we would not have a 50% divorce rate, we would not have a epidemic of chronically unstable women above 30(and chronically lonely, emotionally burned out men over 30). We would not have single income households that raise failed children, we would not have an environment where both genders hate and fear each other at a fundamental level.

The idea is this: before feminism the nuclear family was a viable option where a man around 25 would marry a woman around 21 and they'd have a nice family and the man would be that womans first or maybe second lover and thus she would be less likely to cheat, more interested in maintaining a healthy sex life etc. Now, with woman getting married around 28 on average, they get to sleep around with hot guys and then settle for a provider at the end of it. That provider has to essentially pay for what other guys got for free. Thus in this new status quo, with divorce rape the only rational thing is to be one of those guys who's nailing broads still in their prime and never get married. It doesn't mean that most guys wouldn't take the old system.

After they have done many, many, many things (and the majority of those things were done more than once, and enjoyed), they tell their BP/BB partner that they won't even entertain doing some of those acts for him and "that was the past," usually followed by how much she "loves" this guy and will do "more loving" things.

So, not only is the BP stuck as the provider for the used up CC rider, he doesn't even get to benefit from her experienced stuff. He gets the lazy, used up, washed up version.

Of course, it's a double standard. Men and women are not the same, hence, a different standard for each. Its like asking why are there different rules for humans and apes, different rules for cats and dogs, different rules for minors and adults. We are biologically different.

Men and women desire each other for different reasons; from a biological perspective sex for pleasure is a byproduct. A marriage or LTR is a transaction, where a man gains sexual and reproductive access to a woman, in exchange the woman gains protection and resources from him. It's not an apples for apples transaction, its a barter where you're exchanging apples for oranges.

A woman whose been with several men has devalued herself. A woman's sexuality is her asset, just as a man's strength and wealth is his asset. If several men have access to her sexuality, that means her sexuality and commitment is worthless. She is unfit to be a mother, and unworthy of being your partner. Double-standard, yes; contradiction, no.

That's not even all. Riding the "carousel" implies that she herself is unwilling for commitment. By the time she's changed her mind, she's probably close to have "hit the wall". Men have appreciating value, meaning as men age older they get better job experience/skill, potentially larger income, and accumulate more property/resources. Women have depreciating value, the prime of their life is between ages 18-24 at best. As she gets older, her looks fade, and her value deflates with every passing year. By the time she's done riding the carousel, any man sticking with her is getting a raw deal.

To add on to that. No, not everyone here is obsessed about fucking as many girls possible. The only people like that are the ones who would have wanted to do that even before coming across TRP, whether they were alpha or beta back then. TRP simply helps us understand the nature of sexuality, especial female sexuality, and how to navigate through it. That's all. There's people here who are in committed relationships, marriages, to people who are completely celibate.
