Develop a life you find pleasure in living. Be proud of that life. Your friend did that, and therefore it is easy for him to share stories about his life that he finds interesting.

If you don't then all the advice given here applies to you, hit the gym and look clean irl, focus on yourself and just keep approaching.

I relate to a lot of the stuff you say as waking up and hating your life since the first second, shit sux so I try to have my mind occupied 24/7(work 10h, study 3, train 2) so I barely have any time to even get depressed.

To me, at least, I think the best option would be forget about anything related to sex or women, but it's hard, specially being in my early 20s.

All I can say is oh boy I wish I was average at least... i know very well the place you are at, I've been for years, and all I can wish is you get out soon.

Stop using Tinder: if you're not as visually attractive as the girl you want, you're not going to get anywhere.

No one will find you interesting if you don't even find yourself interesting. Why would they? I mean, listen to yourself. You just said that there's no reason for you to wake up happy. The longer you wait to change your life, the longer you will be waiting on women to make the first move. And there are very few women who find that attractive.

Take a trip. No money? Sell your shit, take a trip. Get a job, take a trip. Can't manage that? Sign up for one of those volunteer programs where if you're selected, you're housed with other young people and you, you know, actually DO shit. Like helping people. You'll be meeting people AND helping people. When I was 23 I lived in a group house in a city across the country doing just this, and I tell you it made me a man.

There are so many ways to break your paralysis. There is so much in the world, and you're here? Upset because a Tinder chick rejected you without even meeting you in person? It's laughable when you think about it. Not saying this to be a dick, just so you'll pull your head out of your ass.
