It's not feminism, it's just guys being pussies and yes most married men are beta just like most men in general are beta, it's an 80 to 20 ratio. It is a way of becoming submissive to your wife, however, the alternative is NOT to try to win the argument. The proper solution is to not engage in the argument at all. Straight from The 48 Laws of Power:

This is a half truth.

You should never, ever argue with a woman. Because that is something you do with an equal. When a child attempts to argue with you, you dismiss the child for acting out of hand and not knowing its place. You make fun of the child. You respond to the fact that the child is arguing, not to the substance of the child's argument. You don't attempt to engage the child in a logical discourse, where you explain your position and try to get the child to accept and validate your position as the correct one.

Women argue with emotions. With feelings. You do not respond to feelings with logic. That's throwing gasoline on to a fire. That's telling a woman that her feelings aren't valid and don't matter. That she's wrong to feel the way that she feels. And a woman IS her feelings. They are one and the same. If you tell a woman that the way she feels is wrong (which is what you're saying when you attempt to logically counter something emotional she said), you just called her a stupid cunt who smells like shit.

Additionally, when you attempt to argue with a woman, you elevate her stupid and trivial mood into a serious issue. You give her power. By arguing with her, you have declared, "The way you feel is important. So important that I have diverted myself from what I was doing to bring the full weight of my logical mind and my complete attention to your mood. You dictate what is and is not important in my life. Not me. Additionally, you are right. So right that I am afraid of your rightness. That is why I have had to resort to seriously addressing what you just said, in an effort to try to 'trick' you into thinking the way you feel is wrong by using a lot of words. I am a weak loser who is desperate for your approval and validation. I need you to acknowledge my position as correct. I need you to understand me and validate me. You're the boss here. You're the daddy. You're the leader. And I work diligently for your validation."

When your wife argues and you argue back, you are never "right", even if you logically defeat your wife with words. All you did was waste time and energy and demonstrate to her how weak you are.

You can't win an argument with a woman, because they are arguing with feelz, not logic, so whenever you sqash her "point" she will move the post and keep complaining.

That is why we say "women are children", because you don't argue with them, you focus on their feelings.

You gotta pick your arguments wisely.

First off, shooting, yelling, getting worked up, putting to much attention to, etc etc is a sign of weakness. It's a sign that you have to defend something.

I'm not saying be a complete pushover. I'm saying, if she wants peach color curtains for the bedroom over teal color, and she's a gonna be a little girl over it... Fuck it, peach color it is.. It's not that serious.

Now, if you and your wife made dinner plans with friends or family, let's say a week in advance, knowing that June 8th at 7pm that you guys have to be at this venue and she decides to shop for a outfit at 6:45pm on June 8th, leading a small window of time to be there that something was planned weeks in advance.. You better fucking believe I will start the argument and win on this one.

It's impossible for a man to win an argument against a woman because we have a need to make sense.

A woman starting an argument with a man is usually a shit test, an attempt by a woman to bring a man into her emotional frame. The best response is to ignore, redirect or belittle her attempt to argue with you.

So men who say "just let let her win arguments ... the man will never be right" are half correct. True, the man will never be right but they are fools to argue with a woman in the first place.

I highly recommend the book "Never Split the Difference." It was written by an FBI hostage negotiator. The consistently emotional and irrational behavior of the hostage takers is very similar to how women are. This book is so good it should be added to the Red Pill canon.

You can win arguments with women. The trick is to show dominance, speak with authority; from above her. Ignoring her is showing authority. Speaking with a firm tone is showing authority. Talking down on her is showing authority. Not taking her insipid arguments seriously is showing authority. This doesn't convince them with logic, but you covertly convince them via emotion. Your body language, your tone of voice is important. If you say "calm your tits" with a frail voice, it comes off as insecurity. If you say "yes honey you are right. You are right to feel this way." with a firm voice, it becomes authoritative. Heck, add a bit of aloofness and it becomes agree&amplify.

As an answer to your question, this line of thought probably didn't originate from feminism, but feminism sure as hell strengthened it. Pussification of males = timid husbands.

Women expect to win all arguments, and behave extremely badly to do so.

The correct response to winning an argument is to walk out and/or utterly and completely blank her until she apologises.

Her only fear is lack of emotional commitment. Shouting at her and arguing with her just proves your emotional commitment so it pleases her at some level. Walking out scares her. Being unemotional terrifies her.

Do what works. Blank her.
