So my LTR wants more attention lately. Totally cool, my dread game is soft but I guess it's enough. She also wants me to "surprise her more". The problem is that she sees it as "I don't see how I can do anything about it. I hate to feel like I'm giving more than receiving here and you are not trying enough". I'd like to surprise her more and do interesting stuff, but as a student I already spend most of my free time with her and she knows it + she needs way more excitement than me to have fun. She says herself that maybe her expectations are too high but she's in a situation where she stops herself from doing nice things to me because it hurts her to feel like I don't care the same way she does.

How do I get to a better position from here? Any advice?
