Texting - should it be only for logistics?

It doesn't literally mean zero texting besides logistics. It means don't have stupid text convos that lead to nothing. If a girl texts you "hey how was your day?" don't respond with "meet me tomorrow at 7 for drinks". But the goal of most text interactions should be to set up a meeting.

Ive found with dating apps you do need to build some rapport first unless your smv is considerably higher.

It depends. If you’ve already met in person (day/night game) then logistics only. Might throw a couple of banter or sexual tension every now and then but stick to logistics. If it’s online you will have to build rapport and raise sexual tension. In my experience going straight for logistics with Tinder chicks has never worked, so you’ll have to text more.

They say to only text for logistics because it produces better results. If a girl is 51% interested in you, she’ll agree to meet up. I do agree you can have a little back and forth, but it should be short and sweet. Just avoid a text conversation. Maybe an inside joke and/or something that reminds her of meeting you.

I've tried to get it to work (I thought I could be "different" LOL), even if you are comedian-tier funny its ill-advised because generally her view of you when you are mysterious and unavailable is better than actual you. Also its much harder to be funny when you don't have body language and cadence to use. Let the hamster do its work.

I do text sporadically. I’ll have short conversations (especially in the beginning) but I make it a point to just disappear mid-convo.

When I first read about this I thought it was crazy and no way it would work, but it draws them in like crazy. Just have to be on guard against weak self validation temptation.

For reference though, I’m an old guy (45) and only have every other week to spin plates. I probably end up with more “stage 5 clingers” than most due to the texting but it is what it is.

If you're getting flaked on it's because they're not finding you tempting enough. I'm guessing you're talking about setting up tinder dates and they're not following through. Guess what, your pictures probably suck, your opening line probably sucks. Behind a screen you're no one, you mean nothing until they're standing in front of you. Limit your responses to 5-6 lines of text. That's it. If she's not interested she's not interested and move on.
