Yeah, I'd be shocked if a doctor agreed to do this on you at the age of 18. You'd have to really shop around.

Two thinks wrong with your list of pros:

Creampie without problems - for most guys. They CAN reverse themselves and surprise both you and your plate.

Can be undone - maybe. Undone is expensive and NOT a sure thing.

At 18, you don't really know who you are yet. I swear to you "I hate children" when you're still a child yourself has almost no relationship to "I want/don't want to be a dad" in your late 20's early 30's. They guy you will be then is almost completely different from the guy you are now.

Me, in spite of the obvious advantages, I was never able to bring myself to do it. Because it's so final.

you will have a very tough time finding an MD who will do the procedure. You'll be told you're too young and that you don't really know what you want to do.

I've had the procedure. Get the it done ONLY if you never want to have kids. They are next to impossible to get "undone." You would still want to use condoms, unless you want to get sick.

I'm very sure that I will NEVER have children. As a preteen I already decided I hated children, haven't changed my thought.

Don't count on the undo - this should be considered permanent.

Take it like if it was a tattoo once it's done its with you forever. I had mine done when I was 25 and trust me it was well worth it. You'd be surprised how many women will try to trap you once they find out you got your ahit together.

You are young, so your doctor may make you jump through hoops, like make you wait, send you to talk to counselling, or something. Basically, they want to make sure you won't change your mind. Because even though a vasectomy can be reversed, the success ratio is pretty low. Plus... a vasectomy nowadays they just poke a couple of holes in your balls, and it's an outpatient surgery. Vasectomy reversal they have to filet your balls and put them back together.. it's night and day. You should just assume it's permanent.

Anyway I knew I wasn't going to have kids when I was as young as you. I decided to get a vasetomy when I was in my mid 20's. Then I finally got it done in my mid 30's because I knew for sure by then I don't want kids. Because I was in my mid 30's, the doctor didn't really question my decision.

If you do get vasectomy, please please follow the instructions, and get tested for sperm after. If vasectomy is going to fail, and sometimes it will, it would fail right away, and you'll be able to catch it by testing for sperm. Once you're in the clear (I believe requires two tests to come out negative), then you can creampie all you want. Just watch out for STD. I'd be a shame if you went though all this trouble, but end up knocking up some girl anyway just because you didn't whack off into a cup for the doctors.

Another thing is they are making progress with male contraceptives. If you are willing to wait and just be careful in the mean time, there could be better options that are not so permanent as technology progresses. But as of today, vasectomy doesn't have any competitors.

I was pretty much like you 15 years ago and I did exactly what you are trying to avoid. Having babies is a bloody and unfortunate mess, not because of the kiddos but because it requires a women.

All in all it's worth the hell of having a woman in your life that more or less owns you just for the satisfaction of fatherhood,
