When I was in college from '14-'18 I made a killing off tinder. Had a GF for a bit so I stayed off, but since I've started using it again since about end of '19 it's been nothing but a waste of time.

Girls literally all have the same bio saying the same shit on repeat "here for good time not long time" "dont hmu if youre under 9 ft tall pls" "swipe left if u voted for trump" "message me on insta instead" etc; theres literally nothing different.

Besides the fact it seems like its just a hivemind of a single person, you barely ever get matches if youre a guy. And Im a good looking guy at that. I lift, eat right and take care of myself - yet i barely get 2-3 matches a week and they are never really... on the higher end of a dime spectrum. I cant imagine what it's like for guys who are average or below, are under 6 feet tall, dont workout etc.

Then, on top of how hard it is to even get a match, it's even more impossible to find one that actually answers. Even harder still to find one that answers with more than one word. Harder STILL is finding one that holds a conversation beyond the first or second message. We're not even going to bring up what it's like trying to ask anyone on a date or to hang out. You'd have more luck taking a polar bear to dinner in texas.

I'm starting to think that for guys, dating apps are absolutely worthless and a complete waste of time if youre anything less than Brad Pitt in his prime, and spend a few hundred dollars getting a professional photographer to take flattering pictures of you.

Call it a rant, roast me and try to convince me its my fault and Im just ugly (im not so i dont care), do whatever you want with it. I just hope guys realize what a confidence killer this garbage is before it makes them feel like shit about themselves.
