3ish weeks initially but then they come back a few couple months later.

Longest consistent ones were 1 year (wanted to date me) and 6 months (totally hated my personality).

My plate retention is shit. Mostly because I offer little to no comfort but also because I have no problem nexting a bitch if she starts acting up.

I’m ok with this because I’m in college and the plates are a plenty. Short dry spells are not uncommon.

I think median would be more useful number here, as there is huge variation.

I have many plates that lasted few weeks at best, some are going strong 5+ years down the road, even with them getting married.

Most start pushing for exclusive status after 1-2 months, depending on how much time you spend together. That's usually the countdown to losing the plate. If they are already in existing relationship, you got good chances of holding them longer.

In my experience, first 5-6 months are usually pretty good. Then a bit of familiarity starts to sink in, if you see each other pretty regularly. I don't know the reason behind it but it's a consistent pattern. If you start having multiple plates, maybe something similar will happen.
