Just curious, I've been lurking and taking in as much as I can, putting some of this into practice and improving myself, my confidence, and my attitude.

I know about the abundance mentality, don't get oneitis yada yada. But let's say you meet a plate or bring your girlfriend to a party or an event for some fun. Some guy comes up and starts hitting on them, talking down to you or flat out ignoring you, maybe says something like "what are you doing with this guy?"

Or he says something like "you're a lucky guy!"

You get the gist of what I mean.

Obviously you have to be ready to next them if they are out of line, flirting back and whatever but what are some ways to maintain frame and own this situation.

Make the guy look stupid, reinforce your frame with your plate or girlfriend, possibly even turn them on in the process and basically shut the guy down without appearing insecure or jealous.

Anybody have any examples of this happening to you? How did you handle it? How would you handle it?

I know this is a bit more advanced because you are trying to maintain frame while out gaming/smarting another guy who may or may not be good at it.

Any input would be appreciated.
