Two primary factors:

First, too may boys grow up without fathers in the home. Fatherless is the number one problem across all socio-economic classes and racial and ethnic groups. Of course, you can't say that out loud (other than "Deadbeat Dads are Sucky and Bad!") because telling women they can't do everything is "anti-feminist" which is now evidently some sort of "thought crime".

Second: Tough times make for tough men.

To give our Millenial Brethren some credit, a lot of their alleged effeminiteness is based off of what is portrayed according to the Approved Narrative in the liberal media. There are Millenials who are are not nutless, faggy losers, but again, the "Approved Narrative" is "Masculine Men Bad, Women in Masculine Roles Good".

There is, of course, a solution. Now, personally, as an older guy, I can tell you that there are plenty of young women who are thirsty for masculine men, but there are only so many I can bang at any one time.

In the mean time, younger TRP men should be seeking out masculine hobbies and developing their character, etc. First, it's good for you, and second there are women out there who will appreciate it.

Hard times breed tough men.

Think about the hardest thing you do as an American man. It ain't shit. You're not hunting food, fighting in wars (unless you sign up for it). Western man's life is getting a beta Bob cubicle job, eating junk food, and jacking off. There's no reason to be manly when everything's been handed to you. When there's no struggle, no conflict, and your dopamine receptors are constantly satiated and overloaded. Go to a 3rd world country. You'll see plenty of tough manly men because threats to safety, food, survival are a reality they live with.

Some of us sense something is wrong and join the military, take up contact or fighting sports, lift, start businesses and adopt RP principles.

What are some symptoms and causes for this?

Men are misled about what is attractive and trained from birth to be good little betabucks for women.

This causes them to compete for who can supplicate the most. Women do not find this attractive, but pretend they do in order to secure resources.

Men have no alternative paradigm for how to live their lives, fearing being called sexist or misogynistic or players or losers. Everyone (girls, friends, family) tells them to be betabux. They suppress the voice in their heads that says "something's not right here" as being some sort of guilt or penance or something.

The combination of shame and demands causes most men to give in and just do what women want. They see NO OTHER OPTIONS. Everything in society.... media and news especially tells them to be good little betabux.

Maybe a guy thinks "I know... I'll do things slightly differently... maybe I'll see two girls at once or see a girl and not promise her marriage or just be single for a while and fuck a girl occasionally". Anyone seeing this or hearing this will SLAM him with shame and guilt and personal attacks and social ostracisation. Most men will choose acceptance over this.

Most men (80%) are beta and all women want beta resources. That means society is 90% beta. Literally 90% of all of society is screaming at men to be beta bux. Married men, single men, married women especially, single women looking for providers.... EVERYONE is telling men to support women.

"Grow up and settle down" is the constant refrain. Most men buckle eventually.

Almost none know how duplicitous women are - they believe they are giving more to her than other men, therefore she likes him more. Little do they know she dreams of Chad and avoids sex with him as much as possible. It ends up being a prostitution arrangement - where he has to please her in the hopes of having sex. Most men accept this as normal, because it is normal. It's also fucked up and stupid and needs to stop.

I didn't necessarily grow up in "hard times" (I'm 39 btw), but I didn't grow up in such a feminized social environment either. This goofy shit where guys wear shirts with kittens and unicorns and shit....that would have got your ass kicked when I went to high school. Same for "Bronies" or whatever. Homosexuality and cross-dressing is very much promoted now whereas it wasn't when I was growing up. We called each other "faggot" and "gay", etc but not in a hateful way. There was always a few guys that were suspect but no guys wore makeup or barrettes in their hair as is commonplace now. The movies I watched were Rambo, Missing In Action, Cobra, Terminator, Above The Law, Bloodsport, etc.... Now it's all comic book movies (obviously I'm generalizing but you get my drift). Video games were around but they weren't nearly as good so this playing for hours on end shit didn't happen...we were outside in the woods throwing rocks at each other and shit, riding bikes, etc. I was also told that I wasn't anything unless I worked to be someone and got no praise for "being myself".

I was so weak early on because my mom heavily sheltered me. In other words, there was no reason to be a man. Now I am living on my own and am forced to grow out of it, but thats my guess as to why most young adults nowadays are still boys.

We live easy lives in a feminized world. Advertising and education are majorly targeted at women. Shit even ESPN is constantly talking about women's issues. Most young men in major cities have to go out of their way to do things that are physically demanding and anything that is a "boys club" is considered sexist.

I can give you a couple of examples of important creeds of this religion.

1) Low self-esteem. You're to blame for not being the ideal person, so don't think too much of yourself.
2) Women's sexuality is the ultimate commodity.
3) "This is why you should be afraid and this is who's to blame for it."
4) Acting for yourself is dangerous. You need others to approve and validate your actions.
5) Being/feeling vulnerable is dangerous.
6) Things and people that don't make sense are dangerous.
7) Life is a zero-sum game. If someone isn't losing, then I can't be winning.
8) Lump-of-Jobs Fallacy.
9) You have to be right all the time.
10) You're defective, but give us your money and our goods and services can solve the problem that is you.
11) You're a victim and others are watching, betting for you to fail.
12) Life is a championship and your opportunity to succeed only comes once in a lifetime.
13) You have less valuable possessions than people around you. So you need to work at a job you hate, to get money which you don't have enough of, to buy things that waste your time, to impress other people who you don't really care about. 14) things will be shit 50 years from now, so enjoy the misery while you can. 15) You're a child, and you need to look to other people to be your parental figures.

There is no such thing as being feminized. I enjoy being able to talk shit around anyone and not getting punched in my face. I enjoy not being drafted, I enjoy not being sent to die for some mustached old fart counting the Reichsmark. I enjoy the fact that I can just ignore an insult from a stronger person and nobody will give a shit while 1000 years ago I would have to duel him for my honor or some shit like that or better yet that I can be a douche to a stronger guy and he will not get violent. I enjoy being able to leave my shit and forget it and nobody stealing it. I enjoy being a moron in the streets and having police who NEVER brutalize me or anyone I know. I like being civilized and being surrounded by civilized people, where the biggest problem is a girl ignoring my message and my favorite game having bugs.

If you wanna get though go to any continent that is not Europe or North America and have fun, don't cry here about it, you have many choices!

edit: I enjoy not having to open doors and jars for women, pay shit for them or protect them, yesterday I giggled when a professor said a woman and her kids got kicked out of her appartment for making bad financial decisions, everyone giggled at me giggling. Well, feminism. Feminism is so ingrained in society that the very thing they are fighting for, the imaginary patriarchy, is in fact realized by creating a matriarchy. Over 97% of women run the lives of everyone through schooling. Divorce rates AND single motherhood are at least 50% and counting. The nanny state is also run completely by women. This means men have no say in the raising of their kids as mothers now rely on the government, married or no.

So you gotta ask yourself, given women have complete control of shaping young boys, who do you think is responsible for the behavior of boys who are now growing up? If what they say is true in that boys and girls are mentally the same, why is it not working to treat all boys like girls, in a schooling system that is designed by women for women?

I would like to add my 2 cents. Since the 50s testosterone has been dropping. And since the grain industry was taken over through govt subsidies, it plummeted even more. And with a the FDA recommendations for a low fat diet, it has led to an even more disastrous drop in "T".

This could be one factor since eating a high omega 3 fat diet with lots of game meat along with veggies and low amounts of refined sugars, leads to me increased "T" . The opposite of that, low fat, high grain, high sugar diet leads to low testosterone.

Are they though? I've met plenty, plenty of strong men. It's not even a function of environment. I've met strong men who were teachers, in technology, doctors, everything.

Many many men have either realized something is wrong in the world or just continued acting as their fathers taught them. The beta mentality is only in a pretty small subset of white American/European men and white-ified minorities (Asians and Indians, chiefly). If we were a community of American blacks, Bosnians or Salvadorans the question of "Why are men so weak?" wouldn't even come up.

I blame schools for this. They are way too soft. They don't give 0's, they don't give surprise tests, the amount of stuff they learn is laughable compared to what my teachers tried to cram into my head. The level at which they teach is also laughable.

Everybody is a winner nowadays. Kids need to be taught that you're either a winner or a loser and not give out retarded participation trophies or other garbage like that.

Near the end of grade 6 I immigrated to NA from EU. In grade 9 (NA) they were teaching us math that I learned in grade 6 in EU. What was even more insulting was the way the teacher was presenting the info. He was using pacman as his example and talking to us like we were idiots.

In my opinion this is one of the things that create weak men.
