Alright so you're getting lots of confusing conflicting info from trp and asktrp. I've used OmLaLa approach and I've used funny lines.

The bottom line is that a girl knows if she wants to fuck you from pics. Good text game might get you an extra meet up but neutral text game is almost as good.

Tinder is alredy a very low effort way to find girls. Asking "What are you looking for" is the lowest of the lowest effort way to go. You just look like a boring guy wanting to have sex with her. She alredy got hundreds of those guys on her matching list so why should you have a chance? Sure, maybe if you're good looking enough and she's desperated enough it will work but you will learn nothing of it.

You have to be forward with your intentions but not too forward. The good news is that you can keep trying to find your balance with your aproach and actually learn from it. If your current strategy isn't working, pick another one and try that. I only used tinder for a month and my texting game got a lot better because you have lots of girls to practice it. Talk to every single one of your matches. It doesn't have to go anywhere, just find diferent strategies and see what works for you. There's a lot of "tinder guides" on /r/tinder and TRP for you to try.
