A drinking question.

I usually don't drink when I go out (I just get a coke or whatever) even though I love alcohol. AA is pretty bad the first few times you do this. But I believe the best way to get over AA is.. to accept the AA and do approaches anyway. It gets better, and soon you won't be feeling any AA.

And then girls start asking you why you're not drinking and you say you're just here to meet new people, and they give you upvotes.

Try alternating water and alcohol. It helps keep you sharp and hydrated.

Liquor before beer, you're in the clear.

Beer before liquor, never been sicker.

(The order ~~doesn't matter physiologically~~, but when you are already drunk, it is a bad idea to drink liquor. At that point, your judgment is off and you can't necessarily tell how many shots you are taking. Beer is less potent and doesn't fuck you up as fast.)

Try gaming without alcohol. You'll realize that gaming drunk girls while you're sober is like playing dodgeball with preschoolers. You have a lot more time and mental energy to come up with witty banter than the people you're interacting. Then once you realize how stupid approach anxiety is, add a little alcohol and game like a rockstar.

I'd say drinking over a standard drink per hour is always detrimental to your game. If you need alcohol as a crutch in big social situations like clubs, you should only ever be drinking enough to have that happy buzz. You should never be DRUNK, only tipsy.

There isn't one correct answer to this question. Find your own limit and realize that every time you surpass it you are hurting your game. Generally, drinking nothing is better than anything, but some of us love to drink while we're out so we do.

I like to be a bit buzzed at the beginning of the night (pre-gamed), then sobering up the whole night. Winding up completely sober or close to it for much of the night.

I'll actually wait to sober up before approaching girls, if necessary. I want to be in firm control of what I'm saying and doing.

Especially for beginners though, a bit more booze than that may help. But watch it, it can entirely torpedo your game faster than anything else.

Funny story, I went out Saturday night and drank so much I don't remember anything. But my friends said they both tried dancing with this chick and it didn't go anywhere. We all reconvened at the bar a bit and I sneaked away to give it a try and my friend's were like "dude, you were gone for a minute and you were MAKING OUT WITH HER ALREADY"

Two shots to start off, then a shot every half hour or so. After the fifth shot, shot every hour or so

Of course I'm not timing it. Just intuition and the knowledge that shots will creep up on you

I am actually in the process of cutting down drinking. My big thing now is NOT showing up to a party, bar, or club pissed drunk. Only instead with just a few in me. So far so good, definitely improves my game but unfortunately I still do rely on a couple drinks to get rid of AA.

I guess to answer your question about a happy medium: Make sure you can see clearly to the end of the room. The more detail the better.

Alcohol can definitely up your game by weakening AA and upping your state. Just remember that if the ultimate goal is sex that night your dick might not be fully operational when the time comes.
