Many times, I see men say stuff like 'Oh, many women on dating apps are just looking for free validation and don't respect me'.

Although this statement is definitely true, I believe the cause of the increasing number of validation seekers on dating apps can be partially blamed on desperate men and women with no standards whatsoever.

Because they unintentionally enable the validation seeking behavior in women by putting them on a pedestal and making any girl (regardless of whether or not she is physically unattractive or has a toxic personality) believe that she is the shit.

Anyway, here are some standards I recommend you to have:

  • Make sure that she is mature and has her shit somewhat together.

Does she smell good and does she have good hygiene? Does she wear clean clothes that look good on her? Is she good with money and can she take care of herself, her household etc.? And is she clean down there?

  • Look at her friends.

Who a girl hangs with can tell you a bit about who she is as a person. Are her friends toxic, druggies or overly protective of her? Do they sabotage her relationships? Or are they decent, cultivated and fun to be around?

  • Don't let yourself be blue-balled by her friends.

Remember that you are dating this girl, not her friends. They have no right to intervene in your relationship unless there is abuse or something involved.

  • Don't validate or reward shit behavior.

Rather, speak up when she says or does something you don't like. Don't bother about getting rejected for doing this. Many women will like it when you speak up for yourself.

To me, shit behavior is when someone constantly lies, cheats or steals. It is also when someone always belittles others or causes nothing but pain and suffering.
