This is just my little tip.

A lot of people have the mindset "how do I get this person to like me?" Even people who have really good game, far better than mine, still often seem to have this mindset.

You should have the mindset of "I want to see if I like this person"

You're not trying to prove anything to them. You're trying to see if they measure up to what you want.

This is very freeing. You're not approaching this person because you like them. You're approaching them bc you like the tiniest superficial aspect of their whole. They only passed your first and easiest test. You probably see dozens if not hundreds of people a day who could pass your "looks" test. Doesn't really make this person very special does it?

Now you want to find out if you like the rest of them, the million other aspects that compose their personality.

With this mindset you'll also rarely feel rejected. Rather you'll just feel like it wasn't a good fit, and you'll be off looking for someone that is.
