Sometimes big groups can be an advantage because isolation gets easier if the group stays intact when you take one girl away. It's almost impossible to isolate a girl who is only there with 1 other friend. They will often stick together like glue.

Look for the groups that are "loose" meaning spread out a bit. Especially if a girl doesn't seem that interested in her group and her attention is wandering elsewhere - perhaps towards you? That would be a good sign.

Just plant the seed with a big group. Approach the group only planning to stay very temporarily, make a comment/ask a question about something regarding the location/occasion in a fun, playful way. While you're doing this, give the girl you like "the look" that you like her (positive eye contact, smile, maybe even "I wanna fuck eyes",) and walk away leaving on a high note.

Big groups are a huge advantage to conquer if you pull it off right. You can always try to get the group in a good mood by offering something of value to the whole group then possibly impressing whoever your originally looking to talk too. Everyone’s a human here so everyone plays by the same rules. You have a better chance opening with a set. Groups are actually the EASIEST because the girl will feel safer than if she was alone. Then the hardest to approach is a girl who is with only 1 other friend. With groups, all you have to do is make friends with her friends because they’re the main cock block and once you’re cool with them, you’ve gained (potentially) her info and some new friends just incase it doesn’t work out. You don’t avoid. You take the risk. You go up, introduce yourself to each and every one, then in front of all of them, you single out the one you want with respect for the rest not chosen. You get denied? Sweet, thank them for your time and go on your way without a single care because you just did something that a majority of men wouldn’t even fathom doing. You don’t lose a thing, you only gain confidence. And if you get her number then cool, you get that as well.

A big thing with approach is recognizing that you have nothing to lose. Unless your confidence is dependent on approval, you will only become a better person and man which should be the overarching goal anyway with everything in life including approach.

The issue with that is that hot girls are found in groups. You'll have more opportunities if you get over yourself and learn group dynamics. You're only limiting yourself if you only look for girls by themselves or two sets.
