Not draining seminal fluid but just emotionally draining - when one draws to a close I’m always a bit relieved, even if it was quite a nice one

Even with the most friendly and outgoing girls it always feels like I’m doing the heavy lifting with conversation and any escalation and stuff - add the $ and the time and energy and… even when it ends with a bang so to speak I often still find it kind of hard to justify all the hoops I’ve had to jump through to get there.

Of course meeting people via dating apps or cold approach isn’t ideal and makes first dates a bit fraught but they still feel exhausting at the best of times.

Can anyone relate? Is it normal to feel this way?
