Yes and no.
In my previous post, "Yes, One Mistake Is Enough to Lose Her," there was a general air of disagreement that essentially went back to this question, if I may so arrogantly read everyone's minds through their writing.
The disagreement was either, "I'm not going to change who I am to get laid," or, "No, she lost me!" or, "If a girl really liked me, a few mistakes wouldn't lose her."
From the standpoint of pure results, these counter-arguments are factually incorrect. If a few mistakes didn't lose you a girl, you would sleep with most of the women you "hooked," with your other "loses" being chalked up to logistics (e.g., no time, no place to fuck [though you can always fuck her in some alleyway], etc).
And what do I mean by results? Well, your definition of success scales with your level of proficiency. A guy who's starting out will count a makeout as a success or a date as success. At this point, for me, if you don't get your dick sucked or cum in her pussy, it's an L. You can trick the mind into avoiding depression or pain by some derivative of the popular BJJ aphorism, "You win or you learn," but when it comes down to your record, a loss is a loss.
And winners care about results. Floyd Mayweather is a success. Why? Because he's 50-0. Conor McGregor is a success, because in the vast majority of his endeavors, he won (1st to hold two world UFC titles in two different weight-classes, jumping up to Welterweight and beating Diaz, making $100 Million in a entertaining match against Mayweather).
Genghis Khan is a success because he conquered the largest swath of land of any other conquerer in history, fucked 40,000+ women, and successfully reproduced more than any other man in history.
Siddartha Gautama is a success because he conquered stress, attained Ultimate Truth, and established the first missionary religion that we know of, and has produced the largest amount of Arhats (Enlightened Beings, i.e., other successful conquerers of stress) than any other religion because of his 40 year career in preaching.
It's difficult for men to have this mindset about sex, however. It seems mechanical, robotic, sociopathic, etc. These are the products of the soft-generation we are currently in (all generations have their issues; this one's is oversensitivity). Being a savage fucker of mothers and daughters is considered immoral and misogynistic.
That's all well and good if you have this perspective.
Perhaps, you instead want to set your goal as something like, "Have a successful marriage," or "Be happy." f so, then go ahead, but it's very vague (and if your goal is the latter, you should learn from the Buddha - his goal was clear; end the cycle of rebirth and eliminate stress). Unclear goals aren't as inspirational as clear ones, and they have no end..
But you want to know why sexual results are such a big deal in seduction?
Because they're important to women.
Women respect the man who can fuck her (and other women). They also respect the man who can fuck her and then keep her as a girlfriend.
This achievement mentality of
Fucking girls that you like and as many of them as possible
Learning how to get the highest quality girlfriend you can to commit to you sexually and support you
Is how a man should define his success, because the object of his desire, women, see this also a success. It's a cyclical definition, sure, but it's sound.
I don't know any successful seducer who didn't at some point make results (i.e., fucking pussies) paramount in his journey. Some eventually let their lay counting/high quality partner hunting go, but this is usually only when they shifted their focus to some other endeavor, because they had reached the level they wanted.
I.e., they succeeded.
Thus, circling back to the disagreements I saw in my previous post's comments, I see no other alternative than to see these disagreements as a rejection of a results-oriented paradigm.
Which is not very conducive to actually succeeding. Winners like and care about winning. Those who shame this thinking, for the most part, do not win.
There are of course many nuances to this discussion and since I haven't written a dissertation to cover every nuance involved, there will be disagreement. Let the arrows fly. You can't argue with Truth.
The only caveat worth discussing in this post would be that of the role of Ego/Pride in seduction, which is the center of all the aforementioned disagreements with a results-based paradigm.
"I have this Ego/Pride and I won't sacrifice it for results."
Good for you. There is merit there. Be prideful. Stand your ground. State your truth.
But if you're not willing to momentarily subvert your pride for the sake of results, you will not improve. You will be pridefully arrogant in your mediocrity.
Which, to me, is silly. But not everyone wants to be great.
And that's fine. In fact, it's inevitable. The 1% is the 1% for that reason. There can only be so many of them.
But if you want to get better? Or be great?
Results are everything.
I'd rather be prideful about being in the top 1% of the 1%, if you ask me.
As Jordan Belfort said, "Deal with your problems by becoming rich."
In this case, get rich with pussy.
