I was telling someone who is pushing the RP angle here, that they're wrong about job, money, status determining (largely) your odds. That's my opinion. I feel I have a right to say so, even if I haven't had any real sensual experience thus far, because I have observed with my own eyes men with women leagues above them. And quite a few exceptions occurring with short-term game, these are all things I've seen in my own real-life.

This person, in response, looked into my posts in other subs. They found a snippet where I was particularly honest about my situation (vulnerable) and decided to laugh, instead of offer anything constructive.

THE MEMES WRITE THEMSELVES

There are probably less than 100 guys on here that actually know a thing or two and are trying to teach the majority of the sub which is younger guys (21 and under) and then you have guys with legitimate mental illness come here and say ridiculous shit like you don't need a job or social skills to get women.

Again, a lack of direct experience does not automatically discount my opinion. I think you'll need social skills, but you don't need to be amazing. As for a job--I believe women won't care in some situations. I believe some women won't screen you out instantly based on job or lack thereof.

I believe most guys including 30+ "low value" have a chance, so long as he socializes in the right places and has passionate interests--doesn't have to be toward career/money. I believe you just need to be able to make chicks feel good, laugh, and so on.

The rub is, though, it's very hard for me to personally maintain the "growth mindset" beliefs you see above. Objectively, I am in a very low position in society--that's what makes it so hard to keep positive.

So when I see the "hypergamy" crowd evangelizing about it, it does make me concerned. How do you keep positive if you have to be on the societal fringe, your time is running out, and so on?
