How is gay marriage a controversial topic? Do you live in Saudi Arabia? What is there to even discuss? It’s legal, it’s socially accepted, universally popular or tolerated atleast. Do you really have some beef with gay people?

In general shut up, don’t say anything on the topic even if you mostly agree. One part of early dating is knowing boundaries on topics. Like you wouldnt poor every detail about your ex before you got know a person or it sounds like you have no boundaries.

Of course I’d also recommend not being a loser and holding these views since it isnt going to help you much. But you probably dont care. Funny how misogynists ask for dating advice.

If you do that, you're doing yourself a disservice by conditioning your brain into a nice guy way of thinking. "If I become what they expect of me, I'll get sex". However yes, you might not get laid, but you'll be true to yourself and that's a respectable trait.

Long term relationship? Obviously lifestyle and opinions will need to be more congruent. If you disagree on important things long term probably won’t work.

I guess you can just make some vague statement, if you don't want to elaborate. If she is being persistent about hearing your honest opinion and then she gets offended - you now know what you can expect in the future. Putting yourself in a position of pleasing woman may backfire really quick, you should be proud of who you are, not sell it for anyone's approval. Usually it won’t get brought up but when I mention my political views, questions follow. We discuss points. Understanding each point of view is important. As a republican I have many liberal friends that respect my opinions despite not agreeing with them. Never enough to ruin a friendship/relationship if the common grounds that keep it alive are stronger. If they won’t talk to you because of your beliefs then they weren’t meant for you in the first place.
