Hello, I can tell from the nature of your question that you're not experienced in cold-approaching women.

If you were, you'd know it's the vibe and the energy you bring that matters, not the words you say.

The classic daygame opener regularly works when you have a confident and playful vibe (although I wouldn't recommend asking for the number right off the bat). It regularly flops if you're feeling anxious, needy unconfident etc.

I once opened a girl with a nightclub with "Do you like my shirt? It's ironed." and she became my girlfriend for six months.

That's not a good opener, but because I thought it was funny, she allowed me to keep chatting her up.

Cold approach is not about using “lines”. It’s about starting a 5-10 minute conversation that causes the girl to feel like she can trust you, to feel that she connects with you, to feel sexual tension, and to get her excited for a date.

So if you only say: “I saw you there thought you were cute, give me your number” That doesn’t work.

Sure, you could get a number doing that, but it wont lead anywhere because you forgot about the need of trust, connection, sexual tension, and excitement for a date which requires you to spend more time talking during the cold approach.

Some guys here have this stupid idea that cold approach is about mass spamming girls with: “hey, are you interested in me? No? Ok next girl, hey you over there, are you interested in me?” That’s not what cold approach is about.

Cold approach only works if you actually take 10 minutes or so interacting with the girl, having like a super small date that lasts 10 minutes, and then if she enjoys that then take it to a full date maybe that same day or in a few days.

So focus on starting a conversation rather than saying right away that you want her number, say instead that you want to get to know her right there in that moment, and take an interest in what she was doing, what she does for a living, what her hobbies are, what her vacation plans are, what her dreams are, what experiences she has had, etc

Make sure you are kinda humurous, playful, fun, that you tease her or mess with her and joke around, share laughs, relate to her, build the connection, etc

Honestly I don't think it is important what you say. Not even the best pickup line can make a success if you are very shy. What matters is how you convey your message, that you emits calm and confidence. And the only way to do this is to just talk to more and more girls. By the time you get more relaxed and your confidence will be natural.

There is no such thing as a perfect line, because each situation and individual is unique, but there are some guidelines that can be implemented on any approach. I call these the big 5.

INTRODUCE yourself like you would to anybody else, get eachother's names instantly.

2.OSA Mention an observation you made about her, your surroundings, or the situation at hand to establish connection and relevance as to why ur talking to her in the first place, give your opinion and ask hers. (O.s.a. [observe,share,ask])

ISOLATE her from her friends.
Subtly PUT HER DOWN.
CLOSE. Don't ask for a number without agreeing to a time and place to hang out.

I don’t know if your question is setting specific but one thing that usually works on me at a bar or club is if a guy is cute & comes up and says something funny about the environment we’re in. Like makes a joke about his drink or about the song that’s playing or whatever. Just something light and simple. I was at a bar last month & a guy came up to me & pointed to his half unbuttoned shirt saying “do you think if I unbuttoned it a little more they’ll give me a free drink? How are my boobs? Looking good?” Which for me is an example of doing a little too much. Just keep it simple and if she’s interested she’ll show it. I once went home with a guy I was standing next to at a bar & his opener was just him sarcastically saying “don’t you f*cking LOVE this song” when pitbull came on. We both laughed and then a normal convo progressed.
