Dude this happens more often than not. Like I’d say 1 in every 10 or 20 numbers that I get leads to a date. Most don’t respond. Many do then just stop. Par for the course unfortunately

It’s normal specially when your goal was to get the number as soon as possible.

Most guys get flaky numbers that don’t lead anywhere because they only talk like 1 minute with the girl and immediately ask for her number and then walk away.

NEVER feel embarrassed or ashamed of showing interest in a girl! Go to the shop, make eye contact, have a friendly smile and wave or say "hi" like its no big deal. Just act like nothing happened lol. Its only going to be weird if you make it weird. Most likely she'll mirror your emotions. If you feel awkward she'll feel awkward. Even if she starts off looking nervous just keep your relaxed friendly body language and eventually she'll realize everything is fine and reciprocate. Don't bring up her not replying. You can act as if you didn't even notice. Its not a big deal so don't make it one lol.

Move on, its just like online dating. They will often give numbers or say pleasant things because they don’t want to hurt your feelings. Its not personal, they just aren’t into you.

Happens all the time. Happened to me after months of flirting and talking to a woman and she gave me her number. I didn’t even ask for it. Yea, they’re an interesting gender. Don’t play their games, delete the number and move on.

It's normal that's why you learn to be efficient and not caught up on one girl

Getting your first few numbers is exciting. Then it becomes almost pointless

Because you'll learn the best option is an insta date or scheduling a date right on the spot and getting a number is like last resort option instead of a primary goal

As a girl I never respond to text from strangers guys who asked my number in the street. The only reason I give it to them in the first place is cause I’m scared of agressive reactions if I refuse. As soon as I receive a text from a guy like this, I block the number. So yeah maybe this is what happened here, idk

It typically means that you showed fear during your approach or you sabotaged yourself (talking too much, saying something stupid, etc.). Most often guys don't read any of the signs. If they took the time to read body language then 10 out of 10 approaches would be successful and you wouldn't need to approach more than 1-2 times a week.
