The mistake with women offering a bunch of advice in a sub like this is that they'll often offer answers they wish were true instead of what is actually true. I'll listen to a woman give me a laundry list of qualities they want in a guy and then ask them if the last 5 dudes came close to anything on that list -- crickets. I don't ask homebuyers for advice on selling homes, I ask successful realtors. I don't ask plaintiffs how to get their business, I ask successful lawyers what they do to attract clientele. Same logic.

Ok, but if a woman can't accurately screen men for attractive qualities and has a history of being deceived by first impressions, how is she going to give you informed answers of how to attract her? She would seem as confused as the guy asking the question. Better to find a dude who's good at it.

Maybe, but that's the woman's problem. I don't deal with hard times. I don't jump through new hoops that other men didn't jump through and I don't do unpaid therapy.

didn't you just admit to having sex with men you later realized were not "the one". I'm not saying men want sex, but if your filters are sooo shitty that you give one of the best parts of a relationship for free at first and THEN make the truly good guys (they're good because they demonstrate the high value stuff like multiple dates, flowers, time spent listening, etc. without whining for sex) jump through extra hoops to get sex, that somehow the good guys won't feel cheated. From any man's perspective, it's a women problem. I will still be good to the girl I want to be good to. But now I see what value I have and will never waste time on someone who needs me to jump through all these extra hoops- especially one who "changed" from a cheap sex-giver to one with a little class.

the phrase "get with us" is usually used as a euphemism for sex. as in "if he comes through with these [referring to a pair of designer shoes], homeboy's gonna like... get it" - Bella Hadid

Some men. I ignored the women who weren’t self-aware enough to not make the same mistake over and over again. If they used those mistakes as an excuse to be difficult, I moved on to more pleasant, agreeable women. Men have the luxury of walking away from these women. Had fun doing that until I met my fiancé at 30. Worked for me.

So you are saying there is a feedback loop that is dialing up the difficulty?
That sounds like that would be more of a systemic issue that can't be solved on an individual basis but something inherent to modern dating.

I think this is a very simplistic take. I think the real problem is sometimes women make comments about situations and things they have no experience with. Like most of the posts here are men trying to get women. Has a woman every had to flirt with a girl get her number and hopefully get a response? No so the advice they give might be inaccurate hence the down voting.
This is just a theory. But I am open to anything.

Because they say one thing and do the other - I’ve never once heard a woman say “I like arrogant men with anger issues that exhibits anti-social behavior” but statistically speaking the Dark Triad personality is seen as more attractive and typically have a higher sex count.
The thing is, a woman’s advice is quite useless. They’ve never had to seduce a woman and rarely understand the male experience. Even a lesbians advice is useless since women-women social dynamics differ drastically from men-women.
If I want to catch a fish, I’m not asking the fish, I’m asking the fisherman who has spent their whole lives fishing. The fish will say “throw a hook with food, that’s how you catch us.” The fisherman says “use xyz food, at xyz time of day, within 3 meters of this exact spot when the sun is just right the fish come out, slightly reel in the hook after 30 minutes yada yada yada.”

I used to smoke pot with these girls and watch movies when younger. We watched American Psycho and they were like oh god he is so hot. Especially with the scene where he dominated the 2 hookers. There were other examples always from movies like when in this one movie two female neighbors are arguing and the one's dude comes out and like dominates the interaction then shoves his girlfriend back in the apartment. They are like god thats hot! Dude was ugly too. I think women are attracted to 3 basic types. Players, providers, and dominance. And there is a lot of social pressure not to admit to what they are really attracted to.

I don’t make the rules on reality, I simply read the findings of the professionals who study it for a living and adjust accordingly. There is a lot of evidence to suggest that men with those traits do better on average than men who don’t. Yet I’ve never once heard a woman say “Yeah, just be arrogant, self-centered, and manipulative, that’s the key to success.” But according to the studies, it genuinely is the key to success.
Men are easier to get than women. If they find you attractive then you get them. Otherwise, you won’t get them. Women are more complicated - they might still reject you even if you’re attractive, or they might be open to you later even if they weren’t initially attracted to you. Regardless, it’s your choice to listen to whoever you’d like for advice. Most of us here only want to hear advice from people who can relate on a personal level from prior experience. Straight women don’t offer that perspective.

That’s frustrated men on the internet for ya a lot of dudes also assume that there’s one way to understand women

You don't ask a pitcher how to hit his fastball. You ask a batter. Straight women never have to seduce other women, so they don't give good advice most of the time on this subject.

Sure, but that may yield two VERY different answers. I'll go with the person who actually does seduce women.

Each advice could work on different women but some advice is more effective than others.

Men giving women advice about picking up men is far different than women giving men advice. For the extreme most part, women don't have to do anything to get attention from men. Men have to do everything and more for the attention of women.
I wouldn't say no if a woman wanted to offer advice but I most likely would not utilize if it didn't make sense to me.

Edit: also want to reiterate men giving women advice is night and day when women give men advice.

Women underestimate how brutal the dating experience is for a man in comparison to a woman so they mostly give bad advice.
An average woman can go on a different first date every single day of a year with a new guy with no effort while an average guy would be pretty good at dating if he managed 1 date per week.
[–]Andress1 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I think it's just biological. There is no place in the world where men have an easier time dating than women, so that's just what we are.
But calling men "easy" doesn't make any sense. Women don't have the experience of being so horny that you would have sex with most members of the opposite sex.
Members that you would never ever date or have a relationship with but would fuck because you are extremely starved.
You have never experienced the pain of being so starved that you would eat food from the trash...but also never have the joy of finally getting it after starving for so long.

This take right here is why men don't take women advice on seducing women serious lol
[–]Casanova-Quinn 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Because 99% of women have no "game".
Women just have to 1) show up 2) look good 3) act normal 4) let the man lead
The dating world doesn't work that way for men.

Because we communicate differently. It’s really that simple. There is to a degree some anti-women sentiment, but you have to acknowledge this is a sub full of frustrated dudes lol. I think there is room for a women’s advice, but you have to understand that the female perspective of seduction is extremely skewed because a lot of women either aren’t sure what they want or they already get a lot of attention. Why would a guy take advice on how to get female attention from someone who receives male attention? It’s completely different.
Try making more posts about female seduction for the guys perspective on it. Maybe that will help

You have to think more, make the question in your head and wait. Think logical why would that happen, without judging.

If you need it spelled out why a women shouldn't be posting in a sub about male dating strategies you're either trolling or a complete retard

Sounds like you're looking for an affirmation and not a conversation.

I feel your frustration with everyone’s negativity over your input. I feel like the community shouldn’t down vote a women’s opinion and appreciate her input but also I agree on the guy’s perspective that mostly men with experience tend to give the best advice.
Tell us how to seduce a women
