What’s your opinion on coffee or ice cream? I think I could reduce flaking by suggesting like that but I don’t know if it’s enough or comes across way to platonic.
I’m not averse to drinks but I’m not a big fan of booze either.

I personally don't think coffee or ice cream build up as much sexual tension as a drink at a bar, but some guys are able to make it work. The key to getting a drink is not to get more than one on the date. You want to be inviting her over to yours after an hour on the date which is equivalent to one drink.

Meet up for tea then 🤷🏻♂️. You can still meet up and get ice cream, but you’ll have to physically escalate to build up sexual tension, which would’ve been much easier to do in a bar.

For this age group I'd recommend day date for coffee with a plan to walk around somewhere else if it goes well.

Night dates in fancy restaurants should be reserved towards a girl you're practically ready to marry. It's just inappropriate for someone you met last week.
Dude, just ask her to hang out at some festival or carnival. Or a coffee shop. A romantic dinner is way too big of a step.

A date should be in the evening/night, just avoid formal dates like restaurants. Avoid cinema as well for a first date.

It depends for me. A lunch date for me is building rapport/ getting to them and not really expecting anything else. Then a late night date is typically trying to get them home. I think girls know this to a certain extent as well.
