If you’re not getting a push-pull conversation (as in you’re not doing all the lifting) then just let her know your thoughts and move on to the next. If you go out and focus on one person then you’re hindering yourself to the potential that’s untapped in the room

Since the other guy's being difficult, push pull is essentially dangling a string in front of cat. A lot of kino escalation is built on this idea. For example, putting your hand on her knee for a bit, then taking it away. You were giving her something good, then you took it away. Or like in a group, you could pay attention to her in particular a bit, then go back to addressing the group. Even when setting up dates this is present, you could offer to take her to a nice restaurant, but only if she dresses nice. The key is to keep her guessing if you actually like her or not, if the cat gets the string (I.e. you give her your attraction), the cat will get bored. Never giving the cat the string will make the cat lose interest too. But alternating between almost giving the string and taking it away will keep the cat playing
