There's a simple one that me and my mates play called Bacardi Boy (don't ask me why its called that, it just is). Its basically a word association game, so if I say, "dog," the next person says, "fur," and the next person says, "hair," etc. So if I said, "dog," and you said, "rainbow," everyone would yell "Bacardi Boy!" and you'd have to drink. It sounds simple, right? But there is one very entertaining alteration to word association: it's a democracy. So even if I said, "dog," and you said, "fur," (which obviously works fine) if everyone says, "Bacardi Boy," you still have to drink. Get it?

A couple of very basic rules: No naming colours or proper nouns, and no more than three in a row of a category (like saying broccoli, lettuce, carrot, asparagus. Asparagus should get Bacardi Boy'd).

There are always loud laughs and arguments over Bacardi Boy calls, so it generates quite a buzz around you. Plus you don't need any tools to play (like cigarettes or cards). Like some of the other suggestions on this post though, the game does get boring after about 10 minutes, so we just use it to get chat flowing early in the night. Try it next time you're in the pub!

AMA Game. Works best if you're with a wing in a 2 set, so that there's an equal number of people meeting each other for the first time.

Rules are simple. You go in a circle. Whoever's turn it is picks someone else from the group and makes a statement. E.g, it's your turn, you pick your target's friend and say something like, "You're an only child." If you are wrong, you have to drink; otherwise, they drink.

Really easy way to tell if the other person is interested in you, and what their level of interest is.

We do this with bottles of Soju when we eat at Korean restaurants (we dine there semi-regularly).. you twist the bit of metal on the soju cap lid until it makes a really weak rope... you then take turns at flicking it, and the person who removes it from the main cap gets to designate 2 shots. Then a game is played using the number on the inside of the cap (1-100) and the person who guesses has to buy the next bottle of soju. :)

a great one:

You have a group of people sitting around the table. The point of this game is to create a sentence as long as possible without failing. The next person repeats what is previously said with the addition of the previous person's added word and then adds his/her own.

Rules are simple, you must repeat everything that was previously said and you can only add one more word. sentencing Example:

Person1: I totally want to strawberry a +unicorn.

Person2: I totally want to strawberry a unicorn +frequently.

Person3: I totally want to strawberry a unicorn frequently +in.......

By mumbling, forgeting the structure of the sentence and not being able to add more you take a given number of sips. You can make up your own punishments for this game. It can be shots, beer or something else completely. Like poking your nose or something. As you can see, it can get sexual pretty quickly. I've played this game several times before with interesting results.

My game is called B. O. M. B.

basically its a movie game. you go around in a circle. first person has to name a movie, actor, or actress. the next person needs to name another actor from that movie, or another movie that that actor or actress was in. and so on. it goes in a cycle, so you get stuff like

brad pitt -> fight club -> edward norton -> the hulk -> etc

if you don't know (ie somebody says something like bella lugosi or something weird) you can challenge the person previous. If they can't riff off themselves, they get a letter. if they can, you get a letter.

so you get games that go something like

Quentin terantino -> Kill bill -> Uma thurton -> pulp fiction -> john travolta -> swordfish -> who was the guy in that? i can't remember. fuck. fuck, i can't remember. shit. challenge. -> halle barry. HA mutherfucker, drink

technically if you spell bomb you lose, but we usually just play you drink and if you hit bomb we add letters, so it's something like bombass or bombadier.

once somebody gets a letter, the person after them in the circle gets to start. the next person (the person after the boy/girl thats starting) can reject as many times as they want, so that you don't get ridiculous games that start off with 'lyndon b johnson haha you get a letter.'

no idea if it's a good r/seduction game, but it's a blast at parties and you can play it easily in a bar and people sitting around you often want to join in. i played once on a bus with 4 people and by the end of the ride the entire bus had joined in.

Dice games. I play 7-11-doubles. You roll any of that and you pick someone to drink 1-2 shots of beer. You roll snake eyes (double 1's) you pick someone to drink a full glass of beer You keep rolling when they touch the cup until you get it again, or they put the cup down. Then moves on to another person's turn.

We usually play that all night long until we move to other bars.

Love Test and The Ring Routine

This is pure gold, doesn't take much to memorize but BOTH are literally chick crack. I've had girls text or call later wanting to do it with their friends and asking how to do it or what everything means.

basically I'll bring it up like "hey lets do something, I bet I can tell you a lot about yourself. Might even be stuff your best friends don't even know about you"

The Love Test

(NOTE: you tell her what her answers mean after the full test is run through)

You will ask the girl a series of six questions within a story in which she is presented with two choices as an answer for each question. She must choose one or the other, and she has to go with her gut. Remind her to answer quickly and to avoid lingering over a choice. At the end of the test, you will tell her what her answers reveal about herself.

“You have a lover, a man who is everything to you. He lives apart from you, but within walking distance. One day you decide to visit him. You have two paths you can take to get to his home. One is a short but boring path that will get you there quickly. The other is a long but scenic path with many beautiful sites that will take longer. Which do you take?”

If she answers “short”, this means she falls in love quickly. She is passionate and impulsive. If she answers “long”, this means she takes a while to fall in love. She is circumspect and enjoys the buildup to falling in love.

“Along the path you come across rose bushes. The roses come in two colors — red and white. You decide you want to pick some roses for your lover. You are allowed to pick twenty roses of any combination of red or white. How many red and how many white roses do you pick?”

Red roses symbolize selflessness. A woman who picks more red than white roses is a giver in a relationship. White roses symbolize selfishness. A woman who picks more white than red roses is a taker in a relationship. [Editor's note: You'd probably not be surprised how many DC women pick more white than red roses. This part of the test is a great screening mechanism for LTR material.]

“You arrive at your lover’s home and knock on the door. A family member opens the door. Do you ask to be let in so you can go to his room to see him, or do you ask the family member to bring him to the door?”

If she answers “ask to be let in”, she does not let arguments simmer in a relationship. She prefers having it out. If she answers “bring him to the door”, she lets arguments slide and buries her anger. She avoids conflict and drama.

“You go up to his bedroom and he is not there. You want to leave the roses in his room. Do you leave them on his windowsill or on his bed?”

If she answers “windowsill”, she prefers more casual relationships where she doesn’t feel a need to see her lover very often. If she answers “bed”, she prefers intense relationships where she sees her lover a lot. [Editor's note: Windowsill girls are cheap dates.]

“Your lover returns and you two spend the night together making sweet sweet sex. You both fall asleep and in the morning you wake up first. You lean over to his side of the bed to see if he is awake. Is he awake or still sleeping?”

If she answers “awake”, she is the type of girl who will try to change her man into her image of the perfect boyfriend. If she answers “asleep”, she loves her man just the way he is, flaws and all.

“It’s the end of the day and time for you to say goodbye to your lover and go home. As before, you are presented with two paths to get home — a long but scenic path and a short but boring path. Which path do you take?”

If she answers “long”, she takes a long time to fall out of love. Breakups are hard on her. She is given to nostalgia and reminiscence. She is a natural romantic. If she answers “short”, she falls out of love quickly. Breakups are short, sharp affairs that she gets over in no time and with little handwringing. She is a natural slut.

The Ring Routine

NOTE: with the ring routine...I add in this bit when it comes to the ring finger (where the guide talks about a vein leading from the ring finger right the heart...I ADD: "The Greeks believed that a vein led from the ring finger right to your heart, but what they found is that it's not a vein but the Chinese found there is actually an energy channel in the body that leads right from here (finger) to here (heart) so when someone puts a ring on this finger it makes a direct connection to your heart" (or something like that)

DOUBLE NOTE: You can also do a cold read of the girl and her personality based on the rings she is wearing and later go into the routine and tell her how you know that about her. You could even open her with the cold read.

Another game, very simple: (two versions)

1 v 1 (but can quickly alternate with opponents, so can still do in a group)

You face opponent and both are holding fists in the air (fists are parallel, palm side down). Taking turns, one person calls out a number (either 0, 5, 10, 15, 20), and you try to guess the number of fingers that will be out. (so if you yell 10, maybe you would open up your fist for the 5 and then expect her to open one of her fists). The game goes fast and you have to open our fist without thinking about it, so it's easy tell if you cheat.

This game is perfect because girls tend to get frustrated fast and you end up looking pretty good. And you can be kind of teasing/cocky-funny by saying 0 really quickly a lot before she opens her fists, and then she feels stupid but will laugh.

group version (just a little more thinking required)

Everyone holds fists out in the center, trying to make like a circle around the table with them. Going around the table to take turns, each person guesses what multiple of 5 will be represented by fists. So for example, some guy shouts '25!' , and if 5 of the total fists are open, then he can take one of his fists out of the center. The last person left has to drink, chug a beer or whatever.

Keep in mind, this might be too much math to be fun if your group is too big, but probably up to 5-6 people its still fun. But I think that the one on one is better for teasing a girl and getting her to laugh/feel good emotions.

This is a chinese drinking game called 15-20 It only involves your hands and I'm bad at explaining the rules so the link is helpful. What I like about the game is it is a one on one game where you can get in the mind of the other person. It's basically cold-reading so she'll be a little impressed and having a fun competition.

Flip cup man. Used it multiple times and it's super easy to get other girls involved. Plus once you get a decent sized group together, you become a focal point of the bar or club!

A favorite of mine that attracts attention and is actually pretty fun is zoomey. Different areas might have different names.

Get about 5 people, or more, and sit at a table. The first person is "zoomey", next person is "1", then "2" and so on. You start of with a simple beat, hit both hands on the table twice while saying zoomey zoomey, then clap twice while not saying anything. After a couple times of that for everyone to get there rhythm on line the "zoomey" calls out their own twice, then another persons number twice, while staying with the beat. Example "zoomey zoomey 2 2. 2 2, 3 3. 3 3 zoomey zoomey." The whole object is to remember your number and stay in rhythm. If you fuck up, drink.

I personally love puzzles. They're great for sparking discussion at a table as well as a solid opener. "Hey, my friend/s gave me/us this puzzle to solve and I/we can't do it on my/our own. What do you think?" A good set of props to have on hand while doing this would be a matchbox and a deck of cards. Maybe some paper and a pen. For some good material, I'd suggest checking out the Professor Layton series of games.

This works much better when you have a group of people you are with. Have each person have their own type of mind benders. One with riddles, one with card puzzles, one with matchbox puzzles, one with mindgame puzzles, the possibilities are endless. Doing the puzzles routine (if that is the right lingo) by yourself is not a good idea in my opinion.

It also bridges perfectly into cold-read/conversation material. If she fails "That's too bad, maybe puzzles/logic/critical-thinking/analysis isn't your thing. What type of person are you?" or if she gets it "Hey, that's pretty good. This puzzle is allegedly popular amongst creative/open-minded/logical people. Do you think that describes you?"

Downsides: If you already know the answer, you're gonna have to deal with people who don't. There generally are no out-of-the ordinary things which will attract attention unless you use props. But yall are intelligent, improvise! Talk loudly, laugh, get frustrated, big groups huddled around something are sure to attract a bit of attention. Maybe have some games like "Orange" or "This is one" which have physical movement involved.
