Of course it is possible to talk to much.

Thanks, I've been used to dealing with the opposite problem so any advice on how to reach a good balance?

Don’t try to come up with things to say. Come up with things to ask. Being interested is more attractive than being interesting.

That's a good point, I do try fairly hard to be interesting. A lot of times I'll feel like I don't know a girl well enough even after a date that seemed to go well. I usually try to ask questions but a lot of times they just don't seem to go anywhere. Maybe I'm just not genuinely interested enough in the girls I talk to.

You have to ask interesting questions, and if they can't play along because they are either bored or not getting that they are being asked to engage, then they are not worth your time.

I get told that I ask too many questions. lol

You are probably asking interview type questions then.

This sounds pretty accurate lol. I've been trying to improve my inner game so when I approach I usually just act as if the girl is interested in me by default. Sort of as a way of defeating the old "There's no way she's into me" mentality I had.

For me the biggest issue is discerning between if someone she is shy or just uninterested.
example, I have this girl who does write in short sentences, which is cold, but now and then she can add a bit more, like, the sentence is cold but she can go like "hiii" instead of "hi" In text form, she is pretty cold I'd say.
However, in real life she has initiated a kiss on me, rubbed my thigh, given me compliments.
After I dismissed her somewhat for her being very draining in text I actually got a message after my father died, not like a facebook like but she wrote to me on a different platform, so she at least thought about it to some degree. I mean, she can't hate me? Essentially she wrote "If you want to meet me again I'm up for it" but with condolences.
Getting her to go on out with me have been hard. Almost always she has been busy, but I'm also not great at asking out, I more or less hint at it or asking like it's a casual thing.
Granted, I'm absolutely horrible at picking up if someone likes me or not, for me it feels like catch 22, so all info I've given to you is perhabs subjective.

Dude, writing from just arriving at home from her apartment.
We laughed, had fun and told stories. I really enjoyed the time.
I tried to make a move when I was sitting in her bed watching modern family with her head over my arm, although it was poor execution. I failed kissing her due to how my body was.
Anyway, while things didn't go exactly as planned, I had an incredible time. Thanks to you for giving me that little courage.

As a man who talks way too much (I can't stand silences) I know this problem all too well. I am aware of the problem and still I talk too much. First I learned to tell more interesting stuff while still talking way too much, this made the problem even worse, you become ultimate friendzone material. You have to escalate and make your intentions clear! And try be comfortable around silences, fill the time with other things.
Thanks for the advice, honestly I'm thinking a lack of my own comfort is probably the biggest problem I'm having. It's like I'm trying to prove something to myself instead of just having fun with it

YES! I get told I don't talk enough, but no one really gives a fuck what a guy really has to say. Do more listening and people will find you more interesting instead of telling everyone your life story seeking validation.

Yea, its possible to talk too much.
See, the problem before was that you weren't sure what to say, or, you didn't know how good what you did say, was. Thats where the insecurity came from before.
Now that you've practiced speaking to women, and have confidence in what you say and how you say it, you want to use your new ability all the time.
Don't. Save it until you need to use it.
Now that you know you can do it, you speak more often, and more than necessary. That too, shows a lack of confidence.
Begin to practice dialing in that ability now, so you will always know what to say, and when to say it. You will begin to have more success by doing less.
Once you have that down, you will discover different women require different amounts, and so-on-and-so-forth.
Speaking well, being enthusiastic, conveying interest, and having a strong vernacular are all seperate tools in the bag, my friend. Keep growing!

I'm actually by nature a shy person. But I've since learned to turn that into a positive thing! I have a much more quiet way of seducing. When talking with a girl I just ask a few questions every once a while to steer the conversation and let the girl do most of the talking. The trick is to be confident at the same time. Even though you are a bit quiet you are still smiling, giving eye contact, glancing at her lips, etc. I find it works just as well as the talkative way of seduction except the more quiet way of seduction comes so much more naturally.

Knowing that sort of approach can work just as well is actually a huge help. Thanks for the feedback!

No prob! I'd also like to mention that this style works especially well if you're good at being a little bit of a bad boy. For example, sometimes when I'm talking to a girl I'll let my eyes fall down to her chest for a little bit and then back up. This makes the girl think, "Wait did this shy and seemingly innocent guy just check my boobs out? Who is he?" Really builds up that mysterious factor.

Try being aloof sometime. There's a time and place for everything.

I try to ask questions to get them to talk about themselves a little more, but it always seems to end up with me doing the majority of the talking in the end.
Asking questions is fine. The missing ingredient here is following up well on a question.
You need never run out of topics. The girl is talking if she's answering questions, and if she's doing that, she's handing you information you could be following up on to come up with places to take the conversation.
Focus on getting at her motivations (why she did something) or her emotions (how she felt about something) and you'll be in good shape with your follow-ups.
