It jumps straight from spotting things you're thinking about to becoming them.

This is pretty meh. Constantly thinking about something is not going to help you. Consistently doing and making a routine will help you. If I think about the gym every day, it does not mean I am going to the gym. If I plan out my work outs each week, then go to the gym on those days, record how I did, going to the gym will be easy.

It takes about three weeks every day to make something a habit. Making a habit of going to the gym is easy because you are in control and just go every day. Making a habit of dating / talking to women is much harder because you are not in control of that.
