The second post you listed is definitely the most important one here. Online classes got me to improve really quickly which was a surprise to me tbh. Some David Deangelo stuff is good but bootcamps helped me out waaay faster.

I've always believed in investing in online courses, here are some of the ones I found more useful:
Those are the ones I can think of top of mind, I'm sure I'm missing some. But those will steer any guy in a solid direction.

Crazy the amount of effort you guys pull into just how to girls like you. is it worth it?
im 19 and i really want a GF but still want to improve my self esteem and personality. i wish i didnt care about girls but hormones and urges too strong...
and the fact i see so many guys her trying to get girls it makes me feel am missing out on something.

how’s not putting in the effort working out for you?
[–]nick89011 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I dont even know how to make friends or keep a conversation going. you think trying to improve with women would be a good idea?
i live in a fucking country where dating isnt allowed and you guys get to bang free pussy all day.
and i dont think online with girls is such a good idea. bc it would lead nowhere.
i know girls just want to have fun with a guy. why are these posts so complex?
if you were in my place what would you do?

Easy to say for rich europeans or americans..

You answered the question already, “girls just wanna have fun”. That’s it, so 1 you need to be good looking (6/10 or higher) that in itself will make being with you fun. Find out what women like and enjoy and add all of that to your life, women don’t give a fuck about your video games or going to the gym so become rich so you can afford to buy everything that would attract them. It will also help with having an adventurous like since with so much money you can travel and show her all these new places and take her to fancy restaurants etc etc.
Have a good body (average weight or cutting/bulking/lean aka abs or jacked). If you’re rich buy name brand stuff like Gucci, Versace, etc etc if not buy Norma clothes. No logos just plain colors with jeans or slacks and sneakers. I’ve seen hot guys pull women in Nike slippers and gym clothes so if you’re 6/10 and higher this will work fine for you. Since you’re good looking (6/10 or higher) she will naturally find you funny and entertaining because she wants to make a good impression. That’s all you have to do, game isn’t real...... you simply make her an offer she can’t refuse. If she finds you hot she will play if not she will ignore you.

They got me to stop being lazy & start working on myself which helped a lot. I also like them just because you work at your own pace. Like if they give you something to complete and you’re busy during the week, you can just wait until the weekend or whenever you have time.
[–]SkyCluster2 points 5 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
I liked that too. The only one I didn't like from that list was PickUpSchool. Feel like it was a waste of money. But I always heard good things about the first three.
You don’t need a boot camp lmfao none of your friends or family used a boot camp to do something that’s suppose to be as natural as breathing..........
[–]chippi-chippy-1 point 5 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
True! A lot of people think they’re very expensive but that’s why I do online bootcamps. Just do enough research on google or forums and find one that’s under $100.

Could you share where you were before your journey through reading and implementing these guides and where you are now in terms of success?
[–]chippi-chippy4 points 5 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link
Yeah for sure! I'll try to make an addendum to my post & add in some extra info
[–]seedeegeecdg 3 points4 points5 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Thanks! The fact you’ve made the post alone suggests that you’ve probably made some great progress haha

Issues with conversation, “what do we talk about” posts are surprisingly common.
Dudes, just be an interested and interesting person. No other work necessary. You could talk til your last breath if you have enough stuff going on in your life.
[–]nick89011 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Very true. these posts are very complicated while the only thing it should be "improve yourself first" before wanting others to like you.
i like to think am an interesting person but i just dont know how to be interested in others. i used to get in a lot of fights just for saying the wrong thing or taking it too seriously.
[–]Boomslangalang 1 point2 points3 points 5 years ago* (3 children) | Copy Link
I think it helps to have a lot of interests, they don’t even need to be passions, just things you keep up on. Passions are great tho because you can just wax on until they look at you funny and then blow it off with ‘I’m terribly sorry, I got carried away with myself...yada yada. Please tell me what’s blowing your mind currently...”
Critically tho I think it’s digging deep enough o find the common thread. a quality of great communicators is they find that commonality and use it as a bridge to build a connection with that person. Even if the common thread is about a distinct difference, it still works because you both learn new things. If I come away from any meeting with new ideas, a fresh opinion, a different take, an interesting/fascinating fact, I feel good about that experience and that person.
Also, I think people are too uptight or too superficial for fear of rejection. I think you can go DEEP early on in a super direct style. This may not be welcomed by some, and can easily backfire, but it is very disarming and therefore effective way to get people to drop their guard. If it backfires just pass it off as a joke/test/social experiment, etc. if it works you’re now several layers deeper than you would be otherwise.
this technique is super powerful in group situations. If you can tease truths out of someone you barely know, others are drawn in out of curiosity and intrigue.
[–]nick89011 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I kinda get what you saying but honestly i dont know why are you saying this...
what do i do now? digging deep enough and find a common thread? whT does that even mean?
[–]nick89011 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Maybe you are right.. but i dont know what to say to dig deep down.. i dont know the question and i never know the other person...
[–]Boomslangalang 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You have to use deduction and intuition. You rarely know nothing about a person you’re going to meet. Use that as the basis and build on that. Research them if you need to.
E.g. If someone’s into tattoos, you are ready know a lot about them. Def dont say ‘you’re into tattoos’ say ‘I see you’re into the Black Dahlia, I too am interested in gruesome unsolved murders from the early days of Tinseltown!” And now just vamp until you find a groove and you’re off to the races. Common thread found and now woven into an exquisite new friendship.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
yeah these dudes really need week long boot camps to figure out what the rest of realised after 18 years of socialization lol
[–]nick89011 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
any advice for starting conversations?
i like to think i respect others, sometimes i take things way to seriously bc i dont want to be butt of the joke everytime, or get angry when others treat me shitty. on purpose or not. i can be funny or confident but when i fail at convos it gets pretty frustrating

This will be really handy for me. I moved into a new apartment just yesterday because I want to get back on the dating scene after a divorce 3 1/2 years ago and losing the one I wanted to marry last year. I honestly have no idea where to start and this guide is the shot in the arm I need. Thanks.
