TL;DR You'd be surprised how many girls feel the same way and are happy to come over to your apartment on the "first date".

Honestly though it really depends on what you're looking for and what kind of girl you're dealing with. It sounds like you in particular are you looking for a FWB or a ONS. Now you just need to filter out the girls that feel the same; how? Be direct with your game, escalate quickly within meeting her, and gauge her interest as you do. If she reciprocates and isn't put off by your quick escalations, I can practically guarantee she'll be fine with skipping the coffee date and coming over to your place for "dinner" straight away.

Is it possible? Yeah, if you pick the girl at the bar and you have the momentum on your side. Doing it when you ask a girl to hang out of the blue? Unless she is in the same mindset as you (Good luck) you need to put in the work.

Don't wanna spend alot of money on dates? Do cheap dates like coffee, but instead of coffee, ask if she wants to go get hot chocolate. Make you it sound different then just a regular old coffee date.

Picking up a girl from a bar/club/party and taking her home the same night is way easier than asking a girl to come to your place as a first date. Do that ten times first, then you can work on this step.

Studying/Hanging out is still doing something. Maybe don't refer to it as a date, but asking if she's free later and would like to hang out at your place is never a bad move. You won't feel the need to spend any money (trust me, you can date successfully on a very very low budget), and you also won't feel the awkward requirements of a first date. You can truly play at your own pace. This is actually how I prefer it.

I take a girl to the local pool hall every time. I go there often enough on my own to be friends with the bartenders so they hook me up with a discounted rate. Both bartenders are female and tend to be decent wing women as far as talking me up. Plus there is great potential for kino showing the girl how to hold the cue and so on. Find something that works and stick to it is my advice.

HELL no. Pickup is about having options. If you have 3 girls who are interested in you, and two of them want to go out and do boring expensive shit but the third one says she wants to netflix and chill, you go with the third (if you're into netflix and chill, otherwise you go out and find a fourth, fifth, or sixth who are into what you are into). When you look at yourself as having high value, your time becomes more important than pleasing the woman and making sure you do everything she wants to do.
