Just going through this sub and just being a distant observer of this whole seduction/dating community, I’ve realized that things have become too complicated. Like books upon books, courses upon courses, posts upon posts, all about something that used to be fairly easy less than a decade ago.
Granted, not everybody was good at attracting and starting a relationship with the opposite sex, but those were usually the people who had very little social and relationship skills. Nerds, geeks, loners, who had to rely on the pickup community to save them. Back as early as 2010, all you had to do was be decent looking, outgoing, confident, and know how to flirt. And if you liked the girl/guy you would just continue speaking and see where it goes. Granted this was usually with people who you knew from your social circle but you could also just meet them randomly outside of it as well.
It feels so weird to hear people dictate to me “text like this” “wait this long to respond” “only meet once a week” “never do this”. Lol like what? All the people I’ve dated in my life, I never once had to think about how to interact with them, I just did it
Now all I see is 1000 different strategies and techniques, like what? How can 1 person remember all that anyways lol. Is this because of social media and dating apps or has dating always been this complicated?
