You figured out early on that Mystery Method is manipulative bullshit and that's a good start. I first read it when I was like 20 and just did not relate to the "PUA" scene back then. Figure out who you are and perfect your inner game. Don't be afraid to express yourself.

Realize that you're one person and there are millions of women. Obviously there are going to be differences and no one should manipulate another person or be an algorithmic robot when going on dates. If you don't vibe with someone, that's okay. You move on and talk to more people.

Most people are not really compatible and many realize it too late into relationships and marriages. I married a woman with borderline who was a "10" and could charm her way out of anything; screen well and find someone who is good for you, not just someone who is good to look at and have sex with.

Make sure it's someone you feel totally comfortable being around, being vulnerable around and feel relaxed, happy and so forth in their company. Someone who still respects you and motivates you during any failures or disagreements, etc. People use the cliche of "I found my best friend," but if you find that in a woman, you are doing well.

I think Myestery Method was popular for those who needed a shortcut to confidence via a framework/script that would be more like a formula for them.

In the long run, if you want any semblance of true happiness you're going to have to be yourself or you'll never be loved for who you are.

Learning how to be the most confident version of yourself will by extension allow you to better control the frame , and make the girl seek your validation because you're doing all the Game principals naturally.

You dont have to seperate it, I've managed to integrate the positive aspects of traditional PUA and the natural style. The reason why this might be difficult for you is because you've havent developed your own unique style of pickup yet, which happens around 4,000 approaches. See my post on how to learn pickup.

Been in game 16 years myself and I like Owen’s way better. I did a bit of mystery at the beginning and to be honest I almost want to go back to it a bit. I’m struggling with approach anxiety lately and some canned approaches might help me. But overall Owen’s is way better as you don’t need to have canned anything

You have to go out and get reference experiences. What rsd used to teach is what most people would benefit the most from. But having some canned material can also be helpful unless you are naturally charismatic and can handle every situation.

Owen would have told you to go out and get reference experiences. You need to be approaching. Then you wouldn’t need to ask a question like this.

Get your hands on infield footage from coaches that are good if you can. Any of the rsd coaches will do. Then you can see what game looks like and what is possible.

Mix this with going out and doing approaches.
