So I'm in Turkey for 2 1/2 weeks, and I'm now juggling dates with five girls. Each one is very beautiful.

As I write this, I'm starting to get waves of anxiety about returning back to LA. About 3 of the 5 are very much long-term girlfriend material. So it sucks to leave. I only have like 12 days left and it's starting to make me upset.

I work on my laptop for the most part, so it's not like I have to go back to LA, although I'd be making significantly less if I packed up for Istanbul permanently. And in LA I don't have to worry about terrorist attacks or an insane despot government (unless Trump gets in but I digress).

But in LA for the last 6 months, by comparison, I've dated ONE girl. And she was CRAZY. Pretty hot, and I was desperate, but wow--I had to get away FAST.

Istanbul has therefore something like a 1000% increase to my love life when I come here (it's my 2nd trip).

The process just isn't nerve-wracking abroad like it is in the USA. Instead it's easy, but I find myself with a kind of dating PTSD from the USA. I am calling a girl I met and I think to myself "Shit, she's not going to pick up. She judged me because I said X or Y, or I'm not making enough money for her, or I'm not tall enough" blah, blah.

But when I'm abroad, the girls always pick up their phone--no flakes or game playing, and if they heard my thoughts they'd be like "You're fucking crazy, why would I not like you because of those things?". It's night and day different. In fact, one girl whom I called apologized that she missed the first call and hoped I didn't think she was avoiding me. It's like the EXACT opposite of LA.

I heard one American incorrectly say "Oh girls out here are easy". Well that's not true. It's more like the culture is more mature or something. If I have qualities on the inside, they focus in on that much more. I noticed I still need plenty of game to meet anyone out here. In a club I'm competing with Turkish guys who are so handsome they could seduce a toaster oven and make the bread finish quicker. But yet it still works out much better.

So yeah, Turkey's a good spot. But not just here. Other good countries I've been to include: Greece, Macedonia, Thailand (of course), various parts of central / east Europe.

The main point, however, is I am now dreading returning to LA (or any US city). Even though I like LA--I can't spend forever in a place that drowns out my self-esteem or makes me feel like I'm not good enough.
