As the title says, I’ve (20m) had my eye on a certain girl for about 4 months whose in one of my college classes. She’s one of the most beautiful girls I’ve ever seen so I’ve been wanting to go up to her but I’ve had severe approach anxiety so I kept making excuses to not talk to her. But this morning, I was able to push myself and pull it off. I was standing in line at a campus coffee shop and was looking around until I noticed her sitting by herself looking on her phone. I couldn’t believe it and had already started talking myself out of walking up to her. I than got a gut feeling telling me it’s now or never so I did it. Went up to her, mentioned that I’ve seen her in one of the my classes. She told me a bit about herself. I didn’t wanna talk for too long as it was just the first ever convo, so I said I’ll see her around. She than said “Don’t be a stranger” and smiled.

This subreddit is one of the reasons I got the confidence to pull this off. Reading the tips and success stories for the past few months led to this moment. The talk may not lead to much but I’m optimistic and won’t be thinking about ‘what if’ situations anymore.
