Fucking dope dude. Here's a tip for next time, call out the elephant in the room. Acknowledging that big awkward thing shows you're socially intelligent and not just some awkward weirdo that doesn't know he's violating social norms. You can usually get a laugh out of it as well. This guy James Tusk posts his videos here sometimes, and in them he usually leads with, "Hey I realize this is very forward, but I thought you were attractive and...". I think it's an awesome way to make your intentions known and kill any weird tension in the air.

the girl might have said "yea but uhm" after asking if she was single cause her mom was right there. Or the mom might have forced her into it. Especially after the mom was like "be nice"
