I’m second year of college. So met this girl who is on the varsity basketball team(I’m on the varsity boys team). Blonde, smart, funny, easy to talk to, so my kind of girl. Over a few months of volunteering each week with the girls team, I really started to like this girl. Talked to some of my teammates about it they said I should ask her out. Didn’t get up the nerve too, still really new to pickup. So eventually both our teams had a party together, at the party she was all touchy feels with me, always rubbing my back, grabbing my arm, sliding up against me and leaning on me. I didn’t have a place to crash at the party so I asked if I could crash at her place and she said sure. On the walk to her place she grabbed my arm and we walked arm in arm. Got to her place ended up talking for a couple hours outside, then we went inside to her basement and she sat down on the couch I followed and she cuddled up next to me grabbed my arm intertwined our legs and we crashed there for the night. The next day I figured I should talk to her about what’s going on so after late practice I called her up and asked her to go for a walk, she accepted. We walked and talked for three hours, in that time I didn’t get up the nerve to say anything until the end. I just ended up saying really stumbly hey your a really cool girl and not sure if you know but I like you and would like to hang out more and get to know you and she giggles and said ok sure, we proceeded to talk about our past relationships then walked her home. A day passes and I text her asking her if she wants to watch a movie, she try’s to deflect the questions and eventually tells me she has a game that night, should I keep trying for a date or just move on? Not sure why she’d say yes to seeing me and then turn down a chance to hang out? Was me telling her I like her a bad move? Just looking for some advice to better myself for next time if this girl doesn’t work out. Thanks guys!
