Just wanted to write some quick things that I've realized through gaming. Hoping this will help others who are also on a self-development journey.
1) The first one extends to more than just gaming girls but to people in general. If you just approach a guy/girl as if you know them well (hey whats up!) with an unparalleled level of confidence that you know them, they'll assume they forgot you or something. This works especially well on college campus. Then you can proceed as normal, assuming the basis of friendship. Why would you do this? Because the more friends you make, the bigger your social circle. The bigger your social circle, the more life opportunities you have. And as psychology research shows, those lasting friendships (the ones you make just by saying hi to some random stranger) are the ones that make you truly happy. At the very least, you are developing your social calibration. And hey, we're cool guys and we have cool people in our lives. It's normal for us to talk to anyone and everyone.
2) If you think about it, many, many guys have no game and are awkward. Sure they may seem OK when you talk to them, but put them in a situation with a girl they're attracted to, and they don't know shit! They don't have interesting stories about themselves nor can they articulate it. They don't have the banter skills necessary to engage a girl and they definitely don't know about the processes of qualification and comfort. In my experience, many go interview style. This is not to put down your fellow man, but just a reminder that to a girl, it's refreshing to be the spontaneous, confident, self-validated man that you are. That puts us ahead of a LOT of people. So take solace in this fact and be confident and as outgoing as you can!!
3) You can't please everyone! Not everybody will like you. For whatever reasons: their mom could have died yesterday, they could be having a bad day or they're just plain antisocial. A few people I talked to randomly today -- they did not react so well. But others, I bantered with and they were showing me that they were interested. So whatever, even if they don't like you -- a) you can't please everyone b) more than 75% of people will like you because of your awesome personality. It's whatever - you're self-validated and you don't need anybody else's approval. There are plenty of people in the world to befriend. And when you let go of the 'trying to please everyone mentality' you can really become a value giver.
4) Above all, continue gaming! It's a lifestyle; self-development never stops. You always want to be constantly improving. As Bruce Lee says: "A man must constantly exceed his level." If you're not taking action, do it now. When you are in a conversation, give it your all and really listen. Watch the subtleties of the interaction. Study how other people interact with each other. Hang out with naturals. Make every part of your life social. Don't just change your game, change your lifestyle. Go to the gym, work out! Eat healthy, be awesome.
