tl:dr – Used textbook seduction techniques for the first time and marveled at how well they worked.
As a recovering “Nice Guy” ®, I’ve never been called an asshole, especially in the same conversation when the phrase “when you fuck me” is used. Of the many issues “Nice Guys” have, I think one thing that stands out most is that we have zero faith that if we act like a jerk, or just don’t take someone’s shit, even for a moment, it may actually increase the respect we receive. We hold on so tightly to the concept that if we are nice, that good things will come to us. And it doesn’t work, time after time, but yet we hold on.
I’ve been reading all of the seduction literature for some time now, and haven’t really had the time or opportunity to put it into practice. But I felt ready enough to try it out. My friends invited me to a bar with Karaoke. I wasn’t there to practice seduction because I was having a great time with my friends, but I certainly was open to the opportunity if a situation presented itself, and it did. Two girls started singing this Latin song and were completely butchering it. A group of girls were going around dancing and I just had to get up and start dancing with their group. It escalated into half the bar dancing to a karaoke song, super funny. When the song was over I sat next to one of the girls (HB 7), not one in particular, just one who had an open seat next to her. I asked her who the song was by because I’d never heard it before.
Her: It’s Selena
Me: Isn’t she dead?
Her: OMFG! I can’t believe you just said that. I love Selena.. blah blah blah
Me: (Major eye contact…. with the expression of like “yeah so”)Me: (Changing topics) “What’s your name?”
Her: Jenny
Me: Like 867-5309?
Her: No more like Jenny on the Block
Me: You must like J Lo since she played Selena in the movie
Her: OMG I love J Lo blah blah blah.
We talk for a minute or so about music and one of the first questions she asks is:
Her: Where do you work?
Me: WTF do you mean where do I work? We’re at a karaoke bar talking about music and you bust out where do I work? You might as well just ask how much money I make.
It felt good. It felt really good to know that was coming and how to handle it. It was almost textbook. It was the first time I’ve ever identified a shit test before and I have no idea how well I handled it, but it felt great. I turned it around and asked her what she did. I was very playful about it.
I escalated the kino the entire time. Kino is so much easier when you are bantering/playfully arguing. At one point she puts her finger to my mouth to shut me up. I just said “noone tells me to shut up” and grab her hand and put it down and just kept holding it in my lap. It was that easy. We go back and forth at this point:
Me: What song are you going to sing?
Her: Genie in a Bottle
Me: That’s so stereotypical. Are you going to grind like Christina, because I want to see that
Her: Oh just wait, I’ll be grinding
Me: What do you do for fun?
Her: Cooking (she makes some kung fu chopping movement with her hands)
Me: That’s not cooking (chopping hand movement), this is cooking (and take her hand to make a stirring motion)
Her: You’re such an asshole
The kino at this point is almost ridiculously easy. I even did some stupid little trick where I purposely but slightly just grabbed her hand and locked fingers just to see if she would let go and she didn’t. I just wanted to see what would happen because I read about it somewhere. And the eye contact was intense. The only time I broke eye contact was to laugh and to periodically watch people sing.
We talked about the bar, where we live, just general conversation. She asks if I’m going to another bar afterwards. I felt like I started to run out of things to say. I looked at her drink and ask what she’s drinking.
Her: Whiskey
Me: How many have you had?
Her: Two
Me: How far away do you live again?
Her: (exploded) OMFG. OMG, No way, You just didn’t….
Me: (Eye contact with crooked smile)
You can see her thinking. You could just see the words sitting on top of her head. In the literature we read, it says to polarize the girl. Make her make a decision about you. I honestly was pushing the boundaries for my own amusement just to see what would happen. You could see the conversation she was having with herself. It was awesome. She broke eye contact and I turned to watch someone sing.
Eventually she turns to me and says something to the effect of “… when you fuck me….” I actually have no idea what she said. All I heard were those words though. Old me would have said “What? Can you repeat that?” But not this time. She just looked at me in the eyes and kind of nodded at me with the expression of “get the hint motherfucker”. So I just moved in like I was going to whisper in her ear and pinched her earlobe with my lips.
I was on autopilot at that point. Because we were both sitting near our friends, I grabbed her hand and said I needed some air (which is ironic because I led her to the back patio with all of the smokers). We got friendly back there for a bit. I toned down the arguing/jerk thing and started to go into comfort mode, just being lighthearted. I actually had to stop myself from being a “Nice Guy” a couple of times. Luckily I had set the frame earlier so my slipups weren’t too bad. We eventually went to her place.
This whole experience is, well, just fun. It’s an incredible rush to spend the time to learn something, put it into practice, and actually have it work. My lessons for this are typical but overwhelmingly eye opening when you first experience it.
1) I went into the night with no expectations. When the situation presented itself, I forced myself to act in a way that I was uncomfortable with.
2) Don’t be afraid to argue, disagree, or even say something lightheartedly offensive to a woman. It shows you are comfortable with yourself and it raises your value.
3) Know how to identify and handle shit tests. They are subtle but obvious when you know what to look for. You are in complete control if handled correctly.
4) I learned to steer the conversation to where I wanted it to go. If we’re going down a road that kills the mood or makes me look bad, I’m re-directing it somewhere else.
5) I really paid more attention to her body language than her words regarding her interest. Her words would have sent me straight to “Nice Guy” mode. After I made that comment about how far away she lives, I didn’t hear what she said, but I could totally see it. To that point, that was the most eye contact she was giving me, and she wouldn’t let go of my hand.
6) Overall, what I experienced was that putting a woman through a range of emotions is what attracts them. Start off with fun. Throw some shock in there. Banter a little, disagree. Add some comfort and kino. Then something polarizing. I kept her guessing the entire conversation.
