I had and appointment in 15min at the train station. Since I was early, I decided to wait at the place where all the boards are with the departure times. There was a huge board and a smaller digital board. Both displayed the same thing. I was standing close to the digital board. This 9 appeared and looked at the digital board. After looking at it, she stood close to me. My heart started pounding. I asked myself why she waiting close to me. It was a huge hall. Of course a lot of people were waiting there. But there was so much space left for her. She seemed thoughtful. So I figured she didnt even notice she me.

I realized she was getting closer and closer to me. Now my heart was pounding very fast. When I say very fast, I mean it. If you were standing in my earshot, you might have heard the pounding of my heart.

I felt like I should approach her. Otherwise I would regret it big time. Unfortunately the 15min for my appointment were already over. To be honest I think I waited on purpose. As the coward I am, I was looking for an excuse to not approach her. But then I remembered. Somewhere on Seddit I read, you have to stop thinking and just go for it. Im not the first one who is going through this. So I thought frick this. I can do it and stopped thinking. I approached her and said;

"excuse me. I just wanted to tell you that you look gorgeous. But now I have to go. I have an appointment. I wish you a wonderful day." I must have sounded like a squirrel while saying this.

Her reaction might have been life changing for me. But I cant tell you yet because Im not sure myself.

She looked really, really suprised. She didnt expect this at all. She opened her mouth and looked at me while I was speaking. After I finished my sentence she gave me this genuine smile. It was one of the most beautiful smiles Ive ever seen in my life. It was the smile of someone who was positively suprised. She wished the same to me.

Her reaction was much different then I imagined. I mean, she was a 9 after all. Didnt she already know she was gorgeous? Did no one ever tell her? Why was she so suprised? I did never ever imagine to get such a beautiful reaction from her side.

I left with the feeling of just creating a story for her to tell. Now she was able to tell her friends about the stranger who made her and compliment and left.

I still feel dreadful for not trying to have a proper conversation with her. She seemed like a genuine person. And I might never meet her again. But who knows.

At least I took action for the first time. It felt great. I felt like a king. I left happy and was happy throughout the day. I want experience that feeling againg and again.

This might not be much but again. Now Im one step closer to get rid of my approach anxiety. And this was my first cold approach ever.
